Kota A.
Hello everyone! My name is Kota. After graduation from a university in Japan I spent a year in Vancouver, Canada, on a working holiday. While working as a server at a sushi restaurant, I had many opportunities to interact with guests who loved Japan, while also learning about Canadian culture from them. Those experiences became truly meaningful to me, and now I would like to take on that role here in Japan—sharing the beauty of my country with visitors and creating unforgettable memories together. Tokyo is a world-famous metropolis, but beyond its well-known landmarks, it is full of hidden gems that are less crowded and waiting to be discovered. I would be delighted to explore such places with you and do my very best to make your trip to Japan a wonderful experience. Since I am originally from Hiroshima, I am also very familiar with Kyoto, Hiroshima, and Osaka. I would be happy to give you helpful advice if you plan to visit those areas. And if our schedules align, I would love to guide you around my hometown Hiroshima, as well as Shiga where I spent my student years, or even Kyoto and Osaka. Please feel free to reach out anytime! I enjoy watching soccer (especially Manchester United!), and I also like beer and whisky. I’m really looking forward to meeting you all :)

Tomoko H.
Hi everyone! Hearty welcome to Japan. I’m Tomoko. I am an English-speaking licensed tour guide, and a registered nurse as well. “Fun Discovering Experience Walking like a Local!” – F-D-E-W-L! That’s what I suggest. 【Experiences】 My work history is as follows. 1) high school teacher ---12 years 2) nurse--8 years + 2 years as operational manager for Kamakura city vaccination team (during COVID period) 3) tourism related jobs such as tour conducting, guiding, and backyard supporting---10 years As a tour conductor, I’ve visited about 20 foreign countries (possibly yours?) as well as countless number of towns and villages in Japan. I’ve enjoyed these jobs while being a mother. Through these experiences with lots of people from different backgrounds, I've found it a great pleasure to share the joy of learning and experiencing something new! 【Guiding Areas】 <Basic> Tokyo, Kamakura, Hakone, Fuji, Yokohama, Nikko, and other neighboring areas from Tokyo I’m a specialist in Tokyo and Kamakura as I have lived and enjoyed walking a lot in those cities for decades. To be honest, even after all my years here, I still enjoy exploring like a tourist as Tokyo is such an enormous city with great diversity and is constantly changing. Kamakura is a historical small city with nice beaches and hills and lots of hidden spots of beauty. Almost every time I go out, I feel I’m still making new discoveries. That’s why I cannot stop exploring. I would take you to some neighboring areas like Hakone, Yokohama, Nikko, and Mt. Fuji area (Lake Kawaguchiko), etc. <Based on Requests > *if my transportation & accommodation are covered Nagoya, Kyoto, Nagano(Nagano city, Snow Monkey park, Kisoji trail, etc.), Hida (Takayama, Shirakawa-go), Kanazawa, Oita, Yamagata, Akita, etc. My original family is from Nagoya, so I know their culture and even their language(dialect) well. Later in my life, I have lived in Oita, Kyushu(far south west of Tokyo) for nearly 10 years and traveled a lot in Kyushu. I love traveling Tohoku, the northern Japan area, too. I’ve planned and enjoyed visiting many of those local areas in the north, too. So, I could share those experiences with you even while having tours in Tokyo or online. 【Personality and others】 - I love meeting people, listening and talking to them. - I'm friendly and caring, I hope:) - I love nature and enjoy hiking and skiing. - I love seasonal flowers and good local food. - You will see a lot about Japanese culture, nature, and lifestyle with me. What has made you decide to come to Japan, by the way? Is it its scenic beauties, exotic culture, history, food, anime, or what else? Is it your business that has brought (or will bring) you here? Let me have a clue and customize your tour. I will make the best tour suggestion for you. Why don’t you contact me now? I’m looking forward to seeing you soon! Thank you! Arigato-gozaimas!

Hitomi K.
Hi, I’m Hitomi. I was born and raised on a small, beautiful island in Japan. Growing up there has instilled in me a deep appreciation for beautiful places and an insatiable curiosity about the world. After working in the private sector in Tokyo for many years, I transitioned into a national government tour guide in 2017. Volunteering at the golf course during the 2021 Tokyo Olympics was an absolute blast! I’ve had the privilege of leading a wide range of tours, from visits to shrines and temples to immersive experiences in anime, pop culture, food tasting, geisha experiences, and Japanese calligraphy. These tours have taken place at some incredible locations within and around Tokyo. I’m particularly passionate about showcasing the hidden gems of the Kanto region, including Tokyo, Saitama, and Nikko. In addition to my tour guiding, I’m also a Japanese Calligraphy master, having honed my skills since kindergarten. It brings me immense joy to share this rich Japanese culture with international guests, and I’m thrilled to continue sharing my passion for Japan with even more people!

Jay K.
Hello there! I'm Jay from Saitama, north of Tokyo. I am 67 years old now, a retired person since August 2025. Before retirement, I worked for American, German and Indian companies for years in a streak within the automotive industry. My family members are wife, son (born in Texas), daughter (born in Illinois) and my dog. Now taking an advantage of my cross cultural job background and capacity, I am wanting to make more friends from every corner of the globe in a different way. The world is getting smaller and smaller. And I am excited about it. Traveling around from coast to coast in the country is my preferred pastime as well. So, I can tell know what the tourists are expecting. In addition, I love to ride my Harley for fun and adventure. Kind of outdoor person anyway.

Saitama Tour Reviews

“A real trip to Little Edo AND candy!!!”
Had a wonderful time visiting some cool spots in Kawagoe Koedo (Little Edo) today; including Kitain Temple, Matsuri Kainan, and Kashiya Yokocho (Candy Alley). There was a lot more history in a fairly local area than I expected. Hitomi was great in providing interesting background information and insight about all the places I visited. Kurano Street was like stepping into a time machine to see a bit of old Japan, lots on interesting architecture and local shops. The festival museum was kinda cool too, because I could get a bit of a feel for the actual event. Although I’m not a sweets person ‘candy street’ was a lot of fun. There were all kinds of goodies in the most amazing packaging, great for souvenirs! And an extra shoutout to Hitomi for being a great guide; knowledgeable, easygoing, and very kind. I had a great time!

Hello Marcel, Thank you for joining the tour and a review! I'm very honored that you're satisfied with my guiding. There are still many great tourist spots in Saitama Prefecture that are not well known. The 500 Arahamt are also very unique stone statues, and they both made us smile, are’t they? I would like to continue working to guide many guests to hidden gem so that they can enjoy themselves. We look forward to seeing you again! Best regards, Hitomi

“A memorable tour to Kawagoe ”
I want to thank Kota on my tour of Japan, in creating a memorable tour for me. I explained my desires to travel as locals do, eat taste what the area visited is known for, my liking for traditional ways, methods, history, craft and people so…. Kawagoe, thank you Kota for always looking back, checking me and surroundings for my safety, the easy conversations, walking the neighborhood, being the translator, revealing the history, the tastings, and that great soba noodles and tempura served in that old traditional place, excellent …. I would never have found that quaint old spot. I will be back, hope to have you as my guide again on another tour.
