<What is Live Zoom Tour?>
The guide visits Asakusa or other area in Tokyo on that day. You can enjoy seeing the real time viewing via Zoom while hearing interesting story, useful information, meanings of each spot from a professional guide.
<What will happen during this experience?>
I will be encouraging interactive conversation with guests throughout asking questions and quizzes.
You can ask any questions freely, also we have Q& A time at the end of the tour. You can learn about Japan based on the history, culture, custom, foods, Japanese people's lifestyle. It takes about 1 hour.
<What do I need?>
You need the internet connection (Zoom account) and the ability to audio and video. The guide will be on Zoom 5 minutes before the tour starts.
<Note>
*This virtual tour can be available for only one account at each session. If you'd like to join more than one zoom account, it is possible to do that if your side has a zoom account that can connect to more than one, and you'll send me a zoom meeting URL link for the experience.
*The available tour time from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (JST). It may possible to arrange the time, please ask me.
*If it will be a bad weather (typhoon, snow, heavy rain), I'll postpone the tour on the other date.
*If internet connection doesn't reconnect over 10 minutes, I'll reschedule the date for you.

*I can't take any responsible for bad connections or issues that happened in the tour that guide can't control. If the screen won't reconnect over 10 minutes, I will reschedule the tour for you.
*Please show up on time. I'll be on Zoom 5 minutes before of your tour time.
If you won't show up after 10 minutes with no contact, the tour will be automatically canceled.
*If the weather condition seems to be not so good, I may ask you to postpone the tour.
*I may ask you to postpone the tour depends on the situation of COVID-19.

About Tour Guide Yukiko F.
I'm Yukiko Fujii. I'm a Licensed Tour Guide and a Registered Nurse. I've worked as a guide since 2015. Thanks to increasing repeat, referred and new clients, tour guide is my main job. I've done virtual experience on Amazon and company events during the last 3 years pandemic. Since I am one of a few guides who tried virtual tour in Tokyo during pandemic, it was a challenging, but it was definitely a great step and enhanced my guiding skills.
I was born and raised in Tokyo. I am a mother so that I'd be glad to welcome families with young children as well.
I used to teach Japanese cultures to elementary students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 at local and private elementary schools when I lived in Canada, United states, and New Zealand. My happiest moments with these children were when they look forward to another lesson every week. All lessons were customized and prepared after discussing with each classroom teacher. It was a challenging job, but this experience broaden my horizon and prompted me to become an English tour guide.
I have a license of Registered Nurse and a Medical interpreter. I've still worked as a nurse during the off- tourism season so that I've kept a medical back ground. There are some common thinking between Tour guide and Nurse, both jobs are required to put myself into their shoes. I'll make plans considering their physical conditions and will arrange any supports after discussing about the tour. I've already experienced to do several tours for mobility challenged clients who have intractable disease and have a difficulty for a long walking. Mobility challenged customers (cane/wheelchair) are always welcomed.

“We enjoyed two extraordinary tours with Yukiko!”
Yukiko is an exceptional tour guide! She is knowledgeable, kind, caring, extremely flexible, and truly responsive. She seamlessly navigates both Tokyo and Kamakura. The cultural sites and experiences, as well as the restaurants, are extraordinary. In addition, she meets the specific wishes and needs of all family members, including offering pre-planned breaks for seniors and pre-planned cultural activities for young children. “Yukiko was fantastic!”
We had 4 fantastic days with Yukiko. One of our adult children has a disability and doesn't tolerate heat or a lot of walking very well, but Yukiko planned everything very well and had arranged for a car to drop us off/pick us back up at extremely convenient locations. She added some sites to our tour as we went along based on our interests (i.e. architectural sites outside of Tokyo center on our way back from Ghibli Museum) which was a treat. Having someone with a nursing background was a huge reassurance to me in case I needed to navigate the health care system. Final bonus was her amazing options for lunches - she gave us some options to choose from ahead of our trip, and we chose the ones that sounded the best to us. She had reservations ready, and all of the lunches were amazing and a highlight as well. Thank you, Yukiko!
