We walk into a beautiful and peaceful stroll garden. There we will see many tea houses and find a moment of tranquillity. In addition, right at the beginning we get a very good feeling for what authentic Kyoto is like. I will tell you a lot about the way of tea there.

At Fukujen Tea House, we will have an unforgettable Tea experience. There, we can relax and talk in peace without lots of people around.
A Journey back in time to Kyoto's past at Nishiki Market
At Nishiki Market, we not only experience a culinary dream but also Kyoto's oldest market. There we have many opportunities to sample food and drink. We also find many opportunities for shopping. The goods mostly offered there are known throughout Japan. For me, it is important that we try authentic food and drink while we are in Kyoto. I will also talk a lot about Nishiki Market there.
Gion Walking Tour
At Gion we will take another trip back in time. I will tell you many interesting things about the history of Gion and the Geikos and Maikos. If we are lucky, we might happen to see a Geiko or Maiko there. I will show you places where we can be completely undisturbed and enjoy Gion to the fullest.
Visit to Yasaka Shrine - Gion Shrine
I will explain everything you need to know when visiting a shrine. I will show you how to clean your hands properly and how to pray correctly. At Yasaka Shrine, we will also take a moment to relax and experience the beauty of this place in peace. I will tell you about the history and significance of this shrine.
