“An Energetic, Knowledgeable Guide”

We travelled to Kyoto on the Shinkasen from Tokyo. We arrived mid-day but Hiro tailored a half-day tour for us so that we could see as much as possible in Kyoto. We spent two more complete days touring. Hiro would meet us at our hotel and then we were off. Be prepared to keep us with this energetic, knowledgeable guide because you don't want to miss out on all the information he has to share about Kyoto. Kyoto is very crowded with tourists, so you don't want to waste time trying to determine how best to get to the sites to tour. Hiro was very adept at getting us to the sites without delay. He made the tours fun with his wit and quizzes. You can take the middle school teacher out of the classroom, but you can't take away his interest in teaching. Hiro also recommended a restaurant for dinner our first night that was fantastic. Thank you, Hiro, for an enjoyable time touring Kyoto.

During the three day tour, I was guiding you to the wide variety of sites such as so magnificently shinning Golden pavilion temple, and Ryoanji temple , which garden shows us the beauty of simplicity and Sanjyu-sangendo temple, where you felt like you were walking in the forest of buddhas ! and Nijyo castle ,which shows you the life of the Shoguns and multi-talented artist Kawai -Kanjiro memorial museum. etc. I am very glad to hear that all of you had a pleasant tour in Kyoto ! “Great introduction to Kyoto”

As an experienced guide and an ex-middle school teacher, Hiroshi shared lots about the history of Kyoto, Japan in general, as well as the four excellent locations we visited. Just what we hoped for. The first three world heritage sites were outstanding examples and key moments in Japan’s history, as well as very beautiful. I shan’t spoil what’s extraordinary about the fourth site, but I’m so pleased we went there. Remarkable. Thank you so much Hiroshi.
