In this tour, you can enjoy bamboo grove, morning coffee at a Japanese style coffee shop and beautiful river and mountains scenery from a wooden bridge. After that, why don't you try 'washoku', or Japanese cuisine and maiko, or cute apprentice geisha's dancing? What to Expect

Kyoto is one of the most popular places in Japan, but recently it is always so crowded. But in the early morning, it is not so crowded. If you want to enjoy quiet Kyoto, I recommend you to visit there early morning. I will take you to a nostalgic old Japanese house for a cup of coffee and some rest. I am sure you will like it. In addition, why don't you try 'washoku', or Japanese cuisine and maiko dancing? My special early morning tour will give you wonderful and unforgettable memories in Japan!!

Important Information

I will guide you every day except for the day that my schedule is not vacant.

I'm a local guide of Gifu, Nagoya and Aichi, but I can guide you around Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Kanazawa, Takayama and Shiga if you pay my transportation fee.

I also dress you kimono if you want.

Admission fee of Tenryuji Temple and Japanese cuisine with maiko dancing costs are not included in my guided tour.

※admission fee of the temple is 500 yen per a person (if you want to see inside the temple, you have to pay 300 yen for additional charge), 500yen is for enjoying the temple's garden

※Japanese cuisine with maiko dancing cost is from 4800 yen to 5300 yen per a person (cost difference is your seat difference, if you pay 5300 yen, your seat is the nearest to maiko.)

“ A Wonderful Day in Osaka ”

Yuriko is truly an exceptional guide for Osaka. Exceptionally knowledgeable, she is very accommodating to ensure a great day of sightseeing. Yuriko showed the best sights of the city, shared her wealth of knowledge while also taking some exceptional photographs along the way (she knows the best secret spots to do so). I enjoyed every moment with Yuriko as her personality and warmth are so rare. I truly recommend her to anyone who appreciates great quality and in-depth knowledge of history, architecture and authentic Japanese cuisine. At the end, Yuriko surprised me with a precious hand-made souvenir made by her family, which I will cherish for years to come - a truly priceless memory.

“ Exceptional Kyoto ”

I truly enjoyed my full-day tour of Kyoto with Yuriko. She has impeccable encyclopedic knowledge of history and every sight in Kyoto, that is so rare and appreciated. She is absolutely flexible and accommodates every preference, goes the extra mile to ensure the most flawless experience - from a particular kimono styling to exquisite “hidden gem” dining along the way. “ Fantastic two days with Yuriko-San! ”

Yuriko-San was our guide for 2 days in Gujo Hachiman and Seki. She was so kind and knowledgeable. We learned a lot of history and got some background info on everything we saw. A couple of highlights for us was the silk screen experience at Takara Showroom in Gujo Hachiman & taking pictures holding a sword at Cutler Sanshu in Seki. We would definitely request Yuriko-San as a guide and would request her again.
