This tour is the most effective way to discover Kyoto by yourselfes for only one day. Kyoto is an ancient capital of Japan , and the center of her civilization for over a thousand years. There are too many Shinto- shrines and Buddhsist temples to visit. So , in this tour I carefully sellected sightseeing spots among all of them.

Inclusions & Exclusions
Guide fee , hotel pick-up at your hotel in Kyoto city
Transportation fee [you and me] , lunch , dinner , entrance fee
These costs are different , depending on what you reqest such as taxi or public bus for transportation and rank of restaurants you choose.
As in it,ll cost around 30000yen to 40000yen for 8 hours taxi. It,s not so cheap but I recommend using taxi because of traffic conditions.
Entrance fee for each Shrine or Temple is around 500 yen each per person.
Tour Important Information
As you may know , Kyoto is considered as one of the most busiest city in all Japan , especially in spring and autum the entire city will be jam- packed everywhere , so
be careful with transportations.
One more thing you need is to prepair is to make rI have been to Kyoto countless times since 1950,s when I was born and also I had worked for some company and lived in Kyoto for almost 5 years as a branch manager.
Since then, I reallr got into Kyoto for everything such as history , culcure , food , and nature.
By joining this tour , you can get a wonderful and exiting time. Besides I ,ll flexibly be able to change and arrange this basic plan for yorur preferance or weather conditions.
As in when it,s rany day , I can take you to some interesting shopping streets , depending on your tastes.eservations for accomodations well beforhand.
Important message from the guide
I will be able to work at any time, unless I'm already assigned to the cases from court.
So I am available from Thursday to Sunday freely, and the rest of days are, depending on cases.
The court is not open during late March, early April and Almost full of August, so these terms really work for me.

“Not happy with our tour”
Shinichi is a wonderful man, however his English was not very good ( and we were promised an English speaking guide). Difficult to communicate with. Our ship docked late, I pre paid for 7 hours, but we were only given 6 hours. Tour guides should keep track of arrival times. Because of this, our time at the Inari shrine was extremely short and rushed. Guide took it upon himself to pre order a very expensive sushi lunch, most of which we did not care for, even though he was told that two of us did not like sushi upon arrival. Just be aware of these things should you choose to book this guide !

(5 reviews)Dear Lynn Thank you for your review. As we didn't have enough time for sightseeing , so I regret I couldn't show you around many sites of Kyoto. Kyoto has so many attractions. Kinkakuji , Arashiyama , Bamboo grove , Heianjingu , Cherryblossoms in April , Colorful leaves in autumn , Tea ceremony , and Zen practice so on. “Kyoto and Kobe”
Shinichi guided us for 2 days; first in Kyoto and then in Kobe. With our permission in advance, he hired a taxi for the day in Kyoto as it was extremely crowded (cherry blossoms) and getting around by public transportation was extremely difficult. In Kobe, we used public buses and then went by rail to visit Himeji Castle. Throughout Shinichi was very pleasant, flexible, professional and caring. He also arranged for a couple of lunches in small, typical Japanese restaurants that we enjoyed immensely. Since we had a couple of extra days on our own in each city, Shinichi went out of his way to provide suggestions of what we might do on our own. Jay P
