Tenryuji Temple and Sogenti Pond
Temple was built by Shogun 650 years ago, and garden and pond remain as they were.
Please sit in front of Sogenchi Pond and realize Japanese Calm and Zen-Buddhism spirits.
You may have a feeling of time-slip to old days.
Golden Temple
Please appreciate Gorgeous Brilliant Golden Pavilion and its reflection on Mirror Pond.
This temple was built as a villa of Shogun for his retired life, but not for a temple.
Stop this building is one of typical structure of Japanese Resident House, so-called Shoin Structure.
Japanese rich people wish to have a garden, resembling this garden.
Please enjoy this garden as your own villa.

Nijo Castle
Nijo Castle was built by Shogun for his 2nd house in Kyoto, stop this castle did not install defense functions in a large scale,
because it was built after Civil war period.
Main building remains as they were 400 years ago, then you can appreciate gorgeous interior such as painting on sliding doors, curving of transom and decorative ceiling.
Please appreciate the Shogun's culture, and power of ruler.
Fushimi Inari Shrine
Fushimi Inari Shrine was built for good harvest, business prosperity, 1200 years ago and has been for commoners and merchants.
Japanese are sure that they can get a blessings by offering prayers to Japanese Gods.
Japanese gods contain 8 million Gods, including Jesus, Mahomet, Buddha and so on.
Please understand that Japanese Shinto is not religion but faith for natural Gods.
Please do not hesitate to pray Japanese Gods, and they do not mind your religious.

“Top day in Kyoto”
We spent the most pleasant day of stay in Japan seeing the highlights of beautiful Kyoto . Seeing it with the help of a local , Eric T, was special.
