This tour takes you to the highlights of Nagano.
We'll enjoy a nature walk at the foot of sacred mountain to Togakushi shrine, going through 250yrs old cider grove. This is where Ninjas and Shinto practitioners used to practice from ancient times. You'll learn all about it from your guide.
After the walk, you'll try famous Togakushi soba noodle
and soba ice cream at the best soba restaurant which only
locals know.
This tour ends with a visit to 1400yrs old Zenkoji temple.

Okusha Togakushi shrine
Hike to the upper shrine and back (Total walking time is 1,5hrs)
We'll go through 250yrs old cider grove and small shrines,
admiring nature and mountains
Soba buckwheat noodle restaurant/ noodle making experience
Togakushi is famous for soba noodles.
There are 20 soba restaurants in this small town.
Your guide'll take you to the best one.
Optional : Soba making experience with a local available.
It is such a nice cultural experience. 3800yen/person.

If you are not confident with your stamina, we can always go only halfway.

“A day of enjoyment in Nagano”
My family had a wonderful day visiting Nagano. The snow monkey park was so enjoyable and the hike from the park was beautiful. We enjoyed eating the traditional dumplings from this area, as well as the sake brewery tasting and the beautiful temple. Erin was very nice and informative and made the day very nice. Definitely a doable day trip from Tokyo using the Shinkansen. Oh and the apples and apple juice from this area is so delicious.

Kamikochi Nature Tour
