Half day tour in Nagasaki
This tour includes must-see spots for the first timers to Nagasaki city. Let's explore Nagasaki by electric trams running around the city.
We visit the sites of the tragic history in Nagasaki: Atomic bomb museum, Peace Park and Ground zero.
Then visit Dejima which was the only window to foreign countries during the seclusion policy.
Meeting Point
At your hotel in Nagasaki city, at cruise ship terminal (Additional pick-up fee is needed.)
Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum: The museum exhibits many materials and documents you can learn about the tragedy in Nagasaki. (Entrance fee is 200 yen)
Ground Zero: Adjacent to Atomic Bomb Museum, the monument stands still beneath the point of the atomic explosion. you can see the remains of Urakami destroyed by the bomb.
Peace Park: Peace Statue sits silently to comfort the victims and pray for peace. There are numerous monuments from the world dedicated to the park.
Dejima: Dejima used to be the only window to Europe and China during the seclusion policy from 17th to 19th century. Nagasaki city has been restoring many buildings at the time, you can learn how people in Dejima lived their life.(Entrance fee is 510 yen)

The guests pay for my transportation fee between Fukuoka and Nagasaki. It costs 6300 yen.
Since I live in Fukuoka and it takes two hours to get to Nagasaki, the starting time is from 9:00 at earliest.

“See Fukuoka through the eyes of a local - unmissable!”
If you're planning to visit Fukuoka then booking a day or part of a day with Yoko should be top of your to-do list. She is knowledgable, interesting and a lot of fun to spend time with. Temples, shrines, museums and the castle were the order of the day. My wife and I learned so much and enjoyed seeing this lovely city through the eyes of a local. We would definitely rebook with Yoko on our next trip to Fukuoka.
