Hidden Christian Pilgrimage ⑥: Sotome (from Nagasaki)
Visit the major pilgrimage spots of NISHI-SONOGI area including 2 of 12 World heritage sites(Hidden Christian)of Nagasaki region. Tour time will be flexible from 6 to 9 hours depends on the numbers of highlight spots which you visit. You can choose highlight spots to visit. Some spots need admission fee.

At your hotel or somewhere in Nagasaki city, in the case of the remote area from Nagasaki, meet-up fee will cost more than 3,000 JPN Yen, and waste your time, too.

(standardl) TOGITSU port: 26 Martyrs of Japan landing port to Martyrdom place in Nagasaki in 1597.
(standardl) SHITSU Community (World Heritage): Observe SHITSU Community, visit SHITSU Church and related museum Cost Admission fee

(standard) SAIKAI BASHI park: Big arched bridge connects Sasebo ctiy with Saikai city, after lunch here, drive through or walk through, may observe whirling tides from the bridge
(standard) YOKOSE-URA park: The 2nd port to Portugal opened in 1562 by OMURA SUMITADA(1st Christian Daimyo)
(standard) NAKAURA JURIAN memorial park: He was born there, one of TENSHO Christian delegation to Rome in 1582.
Go back to Nagasaki. Drop you off at your hotel or somewhere in Nagasaki, tour ends.

Tour Important Information
Meet-up time can be coordinated after your booking.
Admission fee, parking fee, toll-road fee and lunch fee are not included in guiding fee, so you need to pay them on site.
I can managed to shorten the tour time until 5 hours(minimum), but the tour will be invaluable one, just a driving, so I cannot guarantee the tour quality.
We might not be able to observe inside of the churches because of the church condition(Sunday MASS, special event, etc...).
If you use a rental car or a taxi, you will pay for all cost. I will inform you estimated cost in the proposal tour plan before your booking.
On Sunday morning, almost all churches have MASS, so might not be able to observe inside.

“Rainy day in Nagasaki”
Despite the weather we had a great day in Nagasaki with our private guide Hero. He went out of his way to rent a large comfortable vehicle for our group of 5 and rearranged the tour to accommodate the rain. He was very receptive and flexible and had a lot of knowledge to share!

“A great first day + introduction to Nagasaki with Hero - looking forward to more”
I'm very grateful for Hero's patience (I took ages photographing virtually everything everywhere), kindness, knowledge, helpfulness and sense of humour - it was a lot to take in but all very relevant to my novel WIP, so am delighted with his assistance for this very important research I am doing. Also very grateful he drove me back to the car park to find my lost wallet and showed me how to reach the train station in the morning. Also had some fun/funny moments too, so a nice bit of comic relief from seriousness of bomb and martyrdom sites.
