Firstly, this tour is not efficient to visit Nagasaki city because you will spend at least 3 hours only for driving back and forth to Nagasaki from Sasebo.
The tour starts from SASEBO city, very flexible, basic tour time is 8hours, you can change basic itinerary as you like between 6 to 10 hours through the coordination with me. Pick-up(Meet-up) and dismiss at SASEBO. At least we visit (must see)&(must go) High-lights.
This itinerary can be customized to meet your needs and preferences. Send me a message with your requests!

〇guide fee (1-4 pax): 5,000JPY× 8 hours = 40,000JPY+Meet-up fee: 3,500 = 43,500 JPY
〇guide fee (5-8 pax): 6,000JPY× 8 hours + Meet-up fee: 3,500 = 51,500 JPY
〇Car-related cost (Private and Rental car): TBD
〇Jumbo Taxi fee: TBD
〇Admission at each pay facility
〇Food & Drinks
※Parking, toll-road, and refuel are including car-related cost
We need a Rental car or a TaxiI for our transportation. The guide drives a rental car. You will pay for all the rental car or taxi-related fees on-site.
As for the transportation, the most suitable way is depends on the situation, so I finally decide the best way.
Tram car is convenient for moving only in the city and cheep(one day 600JPY/pax), too. But you have to walk some distance. Terrain of Nagasaki city is very steep, so it is not suitable for walk around so you need to be tough in physically.
If we use a rental car or taxi, we need to park somewhere, but there is no free parking area, so please understand that you need to pay at each parking lot in cash.
Tour applcation form will be accepted until 3 days before the tour
My guiding rate is 5,000 JPY hourly (up to 4 pax), and 6,000 JPY hourly (5 to 8 pax), and a Meet-up fee (Guide's transportation fee back and forth to the meeting spot) is 5,000 JPY (in Nagasaki city).
For example, an 8-hour tour for 4 pax costs 40,000 JPY plus 5,000 JPY; 45,000 JPY is the tour price. You pay for this when you book the tour.
Please remember you will pay for the admission of pay facilities and meals on-site.
Up to 4 customers are accommodated in my private car (Toyota Prius), but more than 4 guests need to rent a suitable size rental car (5 to 8 pax) or hire a jumbo taxi (8 pax max) during the tour. The rental car and taxi costs vary depending on the conditions, so my published tour price doesn't include car costs. If you use my private car, you will pay 4,000 JPY (including the parking, toll road and fuel).
After the negotiation of the tour, I will fix the car-related price and add this price to the published tour price so that you realize the total tour price before you book it.
You only pay the admission of pay facilities and meals on-site.
My coverage areas are all over Nagasaki, Saga, and Fukuoka Prefectures, including the remote islands of Nagasaki. But I live in near Omura city in Nagasaki Pref., so far places from my house cost more Meet-up fee (Guide's transportation back and forth to the meeting place).
Additionally, I work in Nagasaki and Okinawa, in two prefectures for about half a month each place. So if you intend to travel to Okinawa, visit my Okinawa account page, and check my schedule calendar of Okinawa.
Hello, everyone!! My name is Yukihiro(行博), call me "HERO". I'm eager to introduce this unique country, Japan to foreign guests. I am not a professional interpreter. I have retired from Japan Ground Self-Defense Force(JGSDF=Japanese Army) on March 2018.
I have spent most of my career as a Army NCO(Non-commissioned officer) . My job experiences are only in the military, but there are variety of specialties, so I didn't feel boredom. I lived in many places all over Japan, such as Hokkaido 10years, Chiba 15years, Okinawa 8years and more places.
I am working for the half of month as a tour-conductor in Okinawa Japan. Rest of month, I live in Nagasaki Prefecture, and work as a Triple Lights interpreter tour guide.
I am registered as a Okinawa prefectural interpreter tour guide (English & Chinese), but don't have a whole Japan area certification. So I am brushing my skill up to get it.
I speak English, Chinese (simplify & traditional) , no problem to guide you, not like a native though.

“Don’t miss out this day in Nagasaki with Hero!”
I am a US Army veteran so when i noticed that Hero is a veteran of the Japanese Army, I was excited to book with him to see Nagasaki and learn about what happened there so many years ago through the eyes of a fellow veteran. Hero is an amazing guide. Kind, considerate and patient. I so enjoyed comparing military stories. He is very informative on the events of Nagasakis history and exploring the city and museum was one of the highlights of our trip. It gave me an appreciation and respect of the world altering event that took place there and the suffering of the innocents. We must all commit to avoiding such decision at any costs. Spending the day with Hero was like meeting a friend to show you around. He even prepared some homemade pastries and coffee for us. I was so glad we booked him for another port stop in Sasebo which was also a very nice day. Thank you Hero. It was an honor to meet you!

“Amazing time with Hero in Sasebo ”
By the time we arrived in Sasebo we were towards the end of our cruise. This was our second booking with Hero and we really enjoyed our time with him. It was as if a long time friend was showing us around his hometown. Hero was kind and thoughtful and very accommodating to our needs. His command of English is very good. He is easy to understand. He was so thoughtful enough to have a coffee break for us with pastries he made himself. We shared many laughs and good times and I would surely book with him again in Sasebo, Nagasaki or Okinawa Thank you Hero!

We three men were about the same age and had a common background of having served in the military, police, and fire department, so we quickly became friends. Today was a relaxing day, due to the fatigue of the long journey. Thanks to you, I felt sorry for making things easier for the guide. I was surprised that the "2nd Street" and "Book-off" are very popular among the Americans. I hope to meet you again someday, somewhere.

“A great day in Nagasaki with Hero”
We were fortunate to have Hero as our guide for one day in Nagasaki. Inspite of the unstable weather he made the itinerary work seamlessly for our group of eight cruisers from Australia. We enjoyed all of the places visited including Mt. Inasa lookout, Peace Memorial Park, Dejima Museum and Wharf (where we had lunch), Spectacle Bridge, Hamamo-machi Shopping Arcade, then lastly the Glover Garden and Holland Slope. He was always receptive to all our requests. We loved his friendly manner and local knowledge which are both great assets as a tour guide. I would not hesitate to recommend Hero to anyone touring Nagasaki even for only a day.
