What to Expect

1.Fun Walk at Ueno Park: Ueno Park is a spacious public park enjoyable to walk around and many excellent museums and Japan’s oldest zoo are located here. Not only that! The whole area was once the grounds of Kaneiji temple, the city’s largest, wealthiest temple in 17th to 19th century. Many historical events happened here. Let’s spot such remains* while walking in beautiful nature with seasonal flowers blooming.

(* statue of Saigo Takamori, Shinobazu Pond, Kiyomizu Kannon hall, Ueno Toshogu Shrine, Great Buddha of Ueno, etc.)

2. Tokyo National Museum (Japanese Gallery): We are to appreciate the museum’s Highlights of Japanese Art exhibition. While exploring the exhibition rooms with Japan’s authentic treasures, you can travel from over 10,000 years ago to the late 19th century. Sharing my personal views and answering your questions, I would like to deepen your understanding and make your travel experience unforgettable!

※ In the large museum complex, there are 5 more buildings and a nice gift shop. If you are interested in other exhibitions or have request to extend the tour, I would be glad to be your company.

Hope for Hakone Highlights

Had a fabulous time with Tomoko. The weather was amazing and was fortunate to see Mt. Fuji in all of its glory. Tomoko was knowledgable and had a great sense of humour and looked after me very well.

My great honour that I receive a compliment that I have a great sense of humour from you, a British! Our combination did never make Mt. Fuji shy for a whole day:) She was so proud of her beauty! Thank you for being a great companion to Hakone and for expanding my vocabulary and insight, Ian.

Tomoko is a true champion!

When I met Tomoko I felt like I have known her since forever. She went above and beyond to organize our 2 days with her, including fabulous meals for a true Japanese experience. I especially loved our Kamakura get away which was such a welcomed change from the bustling Tokyo. Tomoko is very flexible with everyone 's wishes, so helpful all the time and in truly great shape, ready for all kinds of adventures, even running for a full kilometre to catch the last entry at the Big Budha :) a memory we will cherish forever. I highly recommend her for your next visit in Tokyo and we hope on our part to see her soon!

Tomoko H.

Oh, Madalina, thank you so much for your lovely comments just after the excursion. I felt the same way:) Lucky we had perfect weather yesterday at Enoshima. It was my greatest pleasure joining in your family adventure. I’m so impressed the way all your children enjoying each moment in their own way, helping and caring each other not to mention the adult ones but younger ones as well, patient, considerate, and inquisitive! I felt like an auntie of your family. I will never forget the petit Kamakura Marathon to the Great Buddha and your cheers! ‘We are not quitter! Don’t give up, Tomoko!’ Lastly, thank you Constantin for constantly, carefully watching over us all including me. I’m so happy you enjoyed the ‘Kama-yaki’ the grilled fish. Cannot wait to see you all again.
