I have lived in Tokyo for a long time, and I like Tokyo and really enjoy the life of Tokyo.
I love eating, shopping and cooking, so Tokyo is one of most exciting places in Japan for me!! I think, not only for me and Japanese people, but also foreign tourists.
I want to give you unforgettable memories in Japan. My top priority is to help you discover, enjoy, experience and feel Japanese culture, gourmet and life with the heart of Japanese hospitality.
I’m interested in cross-cultural exchange. Let’s talk a lot about anything you want to know and try to do in Japan.
I’m looking forward to seeing you the tour.

“Full day tour, Yumi is a treasure”
I had originally had booked a tour with another guide, but unfortunately he injured his knee and was unable to guide us. This happened about a week before our departure and it made us a little anxious but he worked with GoWithGuide to find us a replacement and Yumi was available. We were grateful that she was able to step in and she was fantastic! Our group was 2 couples around age 50. This was our first trip to Japan and our first full day after traveling. Our itinerary included Senso-ji temple, Akihabra, Tsukiji market, the Imperial Palace, and Shibuya crossing. Getting around the city, we mainly used the subway or walked. Yumi met us in the lobby of our hotel in Shinjuku and the first thing we did was go to the ticket counter at the station and helped us to buy Shinkansen tickets for later in our trip. She helped us to learn how to navigate the public transportation system throughout the day which set us up to feel confident and independent for the rest of our stay. I also appreciated her knowledge of history and teaching us the customs and etiquette of Japanese culture, especially at temple and shrines. Yumi was kind, flexible, communicative, had a good sense of humor, speaks and writes English well, and is everything you'd imagine Japanese hospitality to be. Her value is greater than the price we paid and I'd recommend her to my friends and family. If I come back to Japan, I will definitely contact her again.

Stephanie san, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for receiving the best review possible. Thanks to this review, I am now highly motivated to continue my guiding activities, and I will always strive to provide guests with meaningful information. In addirion, I was also surprised that you had researched Japanese language and various aspects of Japan in advance, and knew things that even I. I also enjoyed the tour with you all very much, learned a lot, and had a wonderful cultural exchange. I hope that this visit to Japan has sparked your interest in the country, and I look forward to helping you again when you come back to enjoy all that Japan has to offer. This week, there will be a break in the rainy season and it looks like it will be very very hot. Please take good care of your health and enjoy the rest of your trip. Thank you again. Yumi

“Wonderful rainy day tour of Tokyo”
Yumi showed us all of the Tokyo highlights on our list. We had an excellent tour despite having rain most of the day. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. She also showed us how to use the trains and subways. Thanks again Yumi

Dennis san, thank you so much for your wonderful review. On that day, unfortunately, we had rain and very cold. I was concerned that you must have been very tired after walking around so much in such bad weather. I am sure you were able to enjoy the cherry blossoms as you toured Japan on the cruise ship. I was surprised that you had studied Japanese language and various information about Japan well in advance. I trust that you are making the most of it and enjoying a meaningful trip. Please come back to Japan again. Thank you Yumi

“Shinjinku adventure!”
Yumi was a fantastic guide and came prepared with gifts for the kids. She was very fast to respond and communicated clearly the tour plan before we met. Highly recommend her for your Tokyo stay!

Mr. Heath, thank you so much for your wonderful review. I think it is not easy to travel with three children, but they were very bright and friendly and talked a lot and I had a lot of fun too. 1 year old baby Reggie is so cute and adorable, she remind me my grand son. I hope your family have lots of wonderful memories in Japan. Thank you again Yumi
