A Masterclass in Navigation – Hakone Day Trip with Yoshi

We had an incredible day that would have been impossible to coordinate on our own. Yoshi expertly navigated us through an impressive array of transport: the subway, Shinkansen, buses, the Lake Ashi pirate ship, the ropeway gondola, and even the local streetcars. Because Yoshi handled all the timing and transfers, we could focus entirely on the experience. We were treated to breathtaking, clear views of Mount Fuji from several different vantage points throughout the day. A major highlight was visiting the Owakudani volcanic area, where Yoshi made sure we tried the famous black eggs (Kuro-tamago) and the local ice cream. It was a perfectly paced, high-energy adventure that our whole family loved. Yoshi’s expertise and kindness made it a seamless 10/10 experience!

Stress-Free Family Exploration – Yoshi is the Best!

Yoshi is an exceptional guide and made our two-day exploration of Tokyo the highlight of our trip. Traveling with two children, including an infant, can be a challenge, but Yoshi made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. He met us right at our hotel and navigated the complex subway system for us, which was a total lifesaver. He was incredibly patient and kind. He even helped hold our baby so we could take photos and truly soak in the sites. Yoshi took us to several stunning temples while providing deep insights into their history and significance, and we thoroughly enjoyed touring the Imperial Palace. He also guided us through great shopping areas for small gifts and helped us discover numerous delicious local food dishes. We felt like we were exploring the city with a friend rather than a guide. If you are visiting Tokyo with kids, we cannot recommend Yoshi highly enough!

The Best Day in Tokyo

Spending your first full day in Tokyo with Yoshi is a fabulous way to start your vacation on the right foot. Yoshi is not only a knowledgeable tour guide, he is so kind and really tries to connect with people in the group. We definitely saw him connect to our teenage daughter pointing things that would keep her interested. He suggested a good snack shops throughout the day - wagyu, mochi, street vendors for nuts, ect. Highly recommend using Yoshi for any tours in and around Tokyo.
