Zuiryu-ji

Entrance fee: 500 yen

A beautiful Zen temple known for its peaceful atmosphere and impressive wooden architecture. Built over 350 years ago, it is one of the most important historical sites in the area and offers a chance to experience traditional Japanese culture and design.

Kanaya-machi

A historic merchant district lined with traditional storehouses and old buildings. Walking through this area gives visitors a glimpse into the prosperous trading history of Takaoka and the atmosphere of old Japan.

Offers: Guests may also have the opportunity to experience making a tin accessory and enjoy a hands-on introduction to Takaoka's traditional craft culture (2500yen~3500yen), and match experience (660yen)

Yamacho-suji

Amaharashi-Kaigan

A scenic coastline famous for beautiful sea views and, on clear days, the stunning contrast between the sea and mountains in the distance. It is also a popular photo spot and a relaxing place to enjoy nature.

Notice: In case of rain, we need to skip this place since this is seaside.

Also, this place is relatively tourist-destination area, so it may be crowded.
