Our Tour will start from Meiji Shrine, then move to Takeshita street where you can find cute ‘Kawaii’ culture. On Omotesando Promenades you will find a gorgeous line-up of newly designed architecture, such as Omotesando Hills by Tadao Ondo etc. Finish is Shibuya where you can enjoy Shibuya Crossing.
Goal will be good Japanese restaurant.

Meeting Point
Your hotel or JR Harajuku Station West Exit, through
- JR Harajuku West Exit (Not East, Takeshita Exit). When you come by JR , please go through OMOTESANDO gate and find west exit. I will wait for you in front of CVS (convenience store) near west exit. If you want me to pick you up at your hotel in Tokyo 23 ward, I can.

Meet & Start from JR Harajuku Station West Exit
Meiji Shrine
Enshrined for Meiji Emperor after his death, 1930. Thoughtfully designed by professional forest designer from the scratch supported by public donations.
Takeshita Street
Opposite area of Meiji Shrine is Takeshita street next to Harajuku Station.
You can walk through the famous Japanese cute ‘Kawaii’ culture street and enjoy shops and restaurants.
Omotesando Promenades
Ginza is a shopping area for established class. Omotesando is more young and vivid.
You can find a lot of new challenges by shop owners and architect designers in Omotesando.
If you have an interest in architecture, you will surely enjoy your time.
Famous names of architects are Hiroshi Nakamura, Tadao Ando, Kengo Kuma, Kisho Kurokawa, Kenzo Tange, Toyoo Ito,,,, and goes on.
Shibuya Crossing
Move to Shibuya and walk through Shibuya Crossing. You can watch within one traffic signal, nearly 3000 people try to reach opposite corner, no clashing each other, using steps, dodging etc. Finish would be a good Japanese restaurant for lunch or dinner.

JR ＆subway 1 day Tokyo free pass : ¥1720 etc.

If you have a particular interest in museums & buildings, I will check it for you.

To enjoy good walking, your proper clothes and shoes are appreciated.
As for transportation, I will propose to use public transportation of JR or subway mainly.
Upon request, we can walk to Nezu Museum and Roppongi,
I can rearrange the schedule to One-day tour.

If your hotel near Yokohama Station, I can also pick you up then we can move to Tokyo.

“Yokohama City Highlights”
Once again Shin hit it out of the park! Started our morning with a short walking tour around Yokohama Port Bay with a stop at the observatory. Then off to the British Consulate Museum and Gardens! Both were Awesome! Then it was off to the Sankeien Japanese Gardens! Spectacular! You would never know you're right in the middle of a busy city! Next came a short walk in Yokohama's Chinatown to an awesome, authentic Chinese Restaurant! Finally it was a well calculated drive to the Haneda Airport where Shin took us to another Observatory and final chance to do a little shopping. All of the above was put together by Shin, even the hire of the Limo, the cost of which was very reasonable. Thanks kindly again Shin for guiding us around your beautiful country!

“My daughter was right.”
During a long layover in Tokyo ten years ago Shin escorted newlyweds for a day. That was so memorable that she was able to remember and recommend Shin for us, 14 and 17 y/o boys, mother and 80 y/o grandfather. She wasn't wrong. Delightful day. He taught us the ropes of the transportation system. We saw a number of areas from quiet religious sites to bustling shopping thoroughfares. Perhaps most impressively was Shin's ability to respond to an "out of the blue" request to visit an unplanned destination. He adjusted the tour by getting us to that spot and another nearby area without any qualm whatsoever. Highly recommend.

“Ueno, Asakusa, and Shinjuku”

Karey san, M-K san, Thank you for your kind review. We started tour from Ryougoku, Sumo town, located west-north of Tokyo. At the Ryougoku station, we can find Sumo Exhibits like the actual size of Dohyo, Hights and handprints of big wrestlers, Portraits of tournament champions etc.. We walked around Sumo stable area, then went into Sumo Museum at National Sumo Areana, Kokugikan. Moved to Edo-Tokyo Museum where exhibits good summary of 400 years history of Edo & Tokyo. We had a short walk to Yasuda Garden Park, which was an old Japanese local lord residence in Edo. Used subway to Asakusa, we enjoyed beautiful Tempura lunch at a historical restaurant, Sansada, whose started its business in 1837, older than your country establishment. Enjoyed walking Nakamise, Sensoji, shopping streets in Asakusa. Final destination was Ueno, where we enjoyed firstly Edo area, Kaneiji, Toshogu, then secondly Meiji Tokyo area, International Library of Children’s Literature, beautifully reconstructed by Tadao Ando. Finished all itinerary, we returned to your hotel. Thank you again for your long walking. See you again soon, Arigatou, Shin
