“Great guide for our group of wine club members”
Joao was an incredible guide for our large group of 20 for two days around Lisbon and the wine region. Our group are wine club members from a winery in the USA and had a great trip with Joao educating us on Portuguese wines. His knowledge of the local wines was invaluable to our group. He also made the education entertaining and added his special flair, which was wonderful for this active and engaging group. Thank you Joao for two wonderful days in Lisbon that our wine club members will cherish for a lifetime.

“The best tour we have ever done.”
Super informative, interesting and completely facinating! Marissa was incredibly knowledgeable and she presented the information in an engaging and fun way. The tour took us to great locations around Lisbon in addition to giving us a much better understanding of the history of Portugal. We highly recommend this tour. Obrigada Marissa!

“What a full day touring outside of Lisboa!”
We did not tour with Hugo as expected as he notified us a few days beforehand that Paula would be our tour guide for the day instead. She was super friendly, a ball of energy, and most definitely passionate about all things Portugal! Though we ran out of time to fit in a visit to Nazare, it was a very full and long day spent touring a good portion of the area north of Lisbon. Fatima was definitely worth the time to visit (if you're into this sort of thing) and Paula was able to get us in to see a short documentary presented by the museum which was cool. She often went to great lengths to ensure we got the most out of the time we had with her, including our stop for lunch in Batalha that was fantastic and authentic to the region. We learned that Paula lives in the old village of nearby Sintra and would have toured that area with her as well, except it was our last day in Portugal and we had already toured Sintra the day before. If you're looking for a full day of high-energy and adventure, this is for you and would recommend!

Most people spend an average of 4 nights in Lisbon, and since there is so much to see, we'd recommend a five-day tour that dives into the layers of Portugal's capital.
With that said, it comes down to what you're looking for whether that’s leisure, adventure, nature, or food. Our day tours work best for those who want to pack in as much of the city’s history, culture and cuisine while on a limited schedule.
