Lake kawaguchi is one of the Five Lakes at the foot of Mt. Fuji and also a resort area. Visitors can enjoy various experiences on top of fine view of Mt. Fuji throughout the year. Many kinds of delicious local food like "Robatayaki" and "Hoto noodle" are available.
At your hotel in Tokyo
Take a highway bus directly heading to Lake Kawaguchi
The combination of Mt. Fuji with Five-story pagoda here is truly a symbol of Japan. During cherry blossom season, this park is especially lively with tourists.
Visitors can enjoy delicious local food for lunch at reasonable price.
Visitors can enjoy taking ropeway to the top of Kachikachiyama and pleasure cruising on the lake for the fine view of natural beauty.
Registered as World Heritage Site, this is a touristy set of eight ponds formed by Mt. Fuji's subsoil water flow. Visitors are surprised at the clear and beautiful spring water of the ponds.
Come back to Tokyo taking a highway bus from Oshino Hakkai
Shinjuku bus terminal at 18:00
guide fee, hotel pick-up
transportation fee (you and guide) like highway bus: ¥4,300/person, lunch, entrance fee
I am available from 9am to 5pm everyday.
I am flexible to one day trip to Hakone, Lake Kawaguchi and Nikko if you pay my transportation fee on top of the tour in Tokyo.
During the cherry blossom season, you may not be able to board the scheduled bus due to full seats, and the tour may be delayed and not enjoyable. For smooth tour operation, I can book the bus on behalf of the guest. If you need this service, please contact me so that I can estimate the cost according to the number of guests and make another proposal.

We recently did a tour of Tokyo with Yoshi. He met us at our hotel and helped us navigate the Tokyo subway and monorail system. We would have found this very difficult to do by ourselves. We went to Asakusa for a tea ceremony and then onto the Senso-ji temple. We had lunch at a Okonomiyaki restaurant (Japanese Pancake) which he took us to. Delicious! After lunch we went to Meiji-Jingu Shrine then onto Shibuya to look at the famous scramble crossing. Yoshi was very informative and provided history of the places we visited. A great day out! Would thoroughly recommend Yoshi to guide you round Tokyo. Trevor and Lorelle W.
Hi Trevor, Thank you for your warm message. I also enjoyed being with you. I look forward to seeing you again. Best regards, Yoshi

The tour by Yoshi-san was excellent. It was an 8 hour guide and we saw so many amazing spots, and experienced Tokyo efficiently. Yoshi-san brought notes to help us understand better the Japanese culture and story behind each places we went to. He also guided us on how to use the train and how to navigate throughout Tokyo. Overall, it was remarkable experience and yoshi-San made it special.
Hi Cyrus, Thank you for your warm message. I also really enjoyed being with you. I look forward to seeing you again. Yoshi

My brothers and I were in Japan recently and Yoshi was our tour guide for Mt Fuji for the day. We worked with him on things we wanted to see and he planned our day for us. From picking us up at our hotel, arranged transportation, and giving us history lessons along the way. He made it very easy and had constant communication with us. It was a very relaxing day for me since I did not have to navigate my way through Japan. While we weren’t able to see Mt Fuji that day due to weather, we saw the beautiful autumn leaves. However, we were able to see Mt Fuji as we were leaving the airport (which was gorgeous)! If anyone going to Japan looking for a tour guide, Yoshi is definitely your person. Can’t wait to visit Japan soon and have Yoshi show us around more!
Hi Anh, Thank you for your warm message. I also enjoyed beeing with you and your brothers. It was so good that ypu could see Mt. Fuji. Looking forward to seeing you again! Yoshi

What a great introduction to Tokyo! We booked a walking tour with Yoshi because we wanted an easy introduction to the city and how to navigate it. We were very happy with our custom itinerary. We visited the Imperial Palace East Gardens, Fukagawa Fudo Temple for the fire ceremony, Meiji Jingu Shrine, and finally Shibuya. We ended the sightseeing tour at the Mocha Cat Cafe, which my 11-years old really appreciated. Would definitely recommend Yoshi!
Hi Eliza, Thank you for your warm message. I also enjoyed being with you and your family. I wish you safe travels in Japan! Yoshi
