March 4 I had a wonderful day of sightseeing with a lovely couple from the US.

We visited Meiji Jingu Shrine, Shibuya Crossing and had lunch at an authentic sushi restaurant.  The sushi chef took out a shrimp and did his artistic job to make a very tasty sushi.  The guest asked how many years he trained and he answered he had been doing this for 25 years and there was no end to his training using the word "Eternal" in English.  He was humble even the sushi he produced was so delicious.

After lunch, we visited Nijubashi (Double) Bridge of the Imperial Palace and enjoy various sakuras (cherry blossoms) at East Gardens of the Imperial Palace.  Then we visited Sensoji Temple, the oldest temple in Tokyo at Asakusa.

The couple draw fortune telling papers.  It is said that 30 % will be bad luck but they got Good Luck and Excellent Luck!! Both of their papers said that they had luck with travelling.(^_^)

So it's your turn to enjoy Tokyo next!!  See you soon!!

I recommend ending up the day with the night view of the Rainbow Bridge and the Tokyo Bay, the most beautiful night view in Tokyo I would like you to see. We will visit the spots you would like to in Tokyo.I will make an itinerary based on your choices and requests. (The popular highlights will be Meiji Jingu Shrine, East Gardens and Asakusa with Nakamise Souvenir Shopping Streets.) Sightseeing spots in Tokyo is widely spread, so I guess we can only visit three or four spots a day.

Edo Tokyo Tour: East Gardens & Ueno Park or Asakusa

Tokyo
4 hours 30 min

East Gardens of the Imperial Palace is one of the Must-See spots in Tokyo, I believe. The gardens are quite beautiful and there was the castle of the Capital approximately four hundred years ago and now around there is the business center of Japan. After visiting the East Gardens, we will visit Ueno Park, which also has some historical buildings. Or you can choose Asakusa, one of the most popular sightseeing spots in Tokyo instead.
