“A lively night in Osaka”

We started in Kyoto, where Nobuko (Nono) picked us up and showed us how to take the local subway and JR to Osaka. That alone was useful for the rest of our trip. She's friendly, kind, and very positive. She walked us through Shinsekai, Dotonbori, and the Shinsaibashi shopping arcade, and introduced us to depachika, the department store food halls. Along the way she took us to Osaka's popular food spots. The okonomiyaki we shared was a highlight. Our evening turned out to be unique. It was our first time in Osaka, and it happened to be the night the local baseball team won the game that sent them to the playoffs. Nono had warned us it might be more crowded than usual. Nono gave us some of the team's history: it had been many years since they'd made it this far, and the last time, people jumped into the river in excitement. Huge crowds of locals indeed gathered at the river to celebrate. Even with the crowds and heavy police presence, she was able to confidently pivot and led us safely and comfortably. If you want to try lots of Japanese specialties, Nono is a great resource. Five stars.

“Great with our family of 8! knowledgeable & easygoing in Osaka”

Miyu was excellent with our family of 8 (4 adults + 4 kids) in Osaka. She managed the kids really well, keeping them engaged and happy throughout the day. Very knowledgeable about the city, patient, and flexible with the pace. A smooth and enjoyable experience—highly recommend for families!

“Authentic, friendly and relaxed: a perfect intro to Osaka”

My wife and I (we’re from Mexico) took a walking tour of Osaka’s top highlights with Niko, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Niko is friendly, genuine and incredibly easy to be around. She made us feel relaxed and comfortable the whole time, with no rush and no pressure, which is exactly what you want when visiting a new city. Her English was clear and we understood each other very well throughout the tour. What we loved most was her authenticity. It felt less like a formal tour and more like exploring Osaka with a kind local friend. She showed us the city’s most iconic spots while sharing her own perspective, and we left with a much deeper appreciation of Osaka.
