“An Unforgettable and Meaningful Day in Hiroshima ”

This review is long overdue, but our time with Miyu-san in Hiroshima back in June was such a meaningful part of our trip to Japan that I couldn't let any more time pass without sharing our experience. Before our visit, she took the time to ask about our family's interests and thoughtfully created an itinerary that was perfect for us. Unfortunately, due to poor planning on our end, we had to significantly shorten our tour at the last minute. Miyu-san could not have been more gracious or understanding. She immediately adjusted our plans and made sure we were able to experience the places she felt were most important with the limited time we had. She was incredibly efficient without ever making us feel rushed. Her knowledge of Hiroshima, World War II, and the atomic bombing far exceeded our expectations. What made the experience even more powerful was hearing her personal stories and perspective from having previously worked with survivors of the bombing. She helped us understand the history on a much deeper and more human level than we ever could have experienced on our own. Despite the very serious history we were learning about, Miyu-san was incredibly warm, personable, and funny. She made us feel comfortable from the moment we met her and was wonderful with our entire family. We only wish our mistake hadn't shortened the time we were able to spend with her! Even with fewer hours than originally planned, Miyu-san made every minute count and gave us an experience we will never forget. If you are visiting Hiroshima, I cannot recommend Miyu-san enough. Having her guide us through such an important part of history added so much meaning to our visit. We are incredibly grateful for her kindness, flexibility, knowledge, and the personal stories she shared with us. Thank you, Miyu-san!

“The Highlight of our Tokyo trip!”

This review is long overdue, but our day with Yukiko-san was such a special part of our trip that I couldn't let any more time pass without sharing our experience. Japan had been at the top of our family's bucket list for years, and somehow Yukiko-san exceeded all our expectations. My husband, our 20-year-old son, our 12-year-old daughter, and I spent 7½ hours exploring Tokyo with her, and by the end of the day, she felt less like our guide and more like a family friend showing us her city. Before our trip, Yukiko-san took the time to learn about our interests and helped create the perfect itinerary. She was warm, patient, funny, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. She knew Tokyo like the back of her hand and shared fascinating history and cultural details everywhere we went. She even wore a beautiful kimono! She connected wonderfully with both of our kids despite their age difference. She knew so much about anime, which they loved, taught us Japanese and origami, explained Japanese culture and food, and even prepared information on her tablet and a keepsake from our tour. My favorite experience was the tea ceremony in Asakusa. It was beautiful, but Yukiko-san's explanation of the history and meaning behind it made it truly unforgettable. She also taught us how to navigate Tokyo's public transportation and gave us tips that helped throughout the rest of our trip. Yukiko-san didn't just show us Tokyo, she helped us understand and appreciate it. Months later, our family still talks about our day with her. Booking this tour was one of the best decisions we made in Japan. I cannot recommend Yukiko-san highly enough! Yukiko-san, I'm sorry this took me so long to write. Thank you for making our first trip to Japan even more special than we imagined!

“An Amazing Day!”

Kaneo was an amazing guide. He was a wealth of information - from the city, to the flora, and to the history. He also listened to what our preferences were and he was quite accomondating. We actually recommended him to people we met during our week in Japan. We highly recommend him!
