Kaneo U.
I’m so excited to have a chance to show you around my favorite spots in Kanagawa prefecture. I was born in Kanagawa. I spent my whole school life, including university, here in Kanagawa. I worked as a high school English teacher here for more than 40 years. I love Kanagawa so much. We have many interesting tourist spots, like Hakone, Kamakura, Enoshima and Yokohama. I got my tour guide license in English in 2009. I am still an English teacher. To give an interesting and impressive lesson to young high school students, I’ve learnt and gathered many kinds of information. I also have a license to teach social studies, so I have a wide range of knowledge about Japanese culture and history. I’m sure to provide you an interesting tour.

Grant A.
Hello! My name is Grant, and I’ve spent over a decade living and exploring Japan. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, I first came to Japan as a high school exchange student in Inuyama, a historic castle town in Aichi. My love for Japan began early—sparked by childhood games like Pokémon that were released in Japanese before English. That early curiosity grew into a lifelong passion for Japanese language, culture, and history. I hold an N2 on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, a degree in Asian Studies from a Tokyo university, and I graduated from the Japan Visual Media Translation Academy. I’ve visited all 47 prefectures and explored a wide range of historical sites, shrines, and castles throughout the country. My background in Japanese history helps me provide context that brings depth and meaning to the places we visit—whether it's understanding a centuries-old temple in Kyoto, the story behind a castle ruin, or uncovering the historical layers of a Tokyo neighborhood. If you’re planning to explore Tokyo, here are some tour options to consider: One day in Tokyo? The Ginza Line Tour offers a great introduction to the city’s highlights. Two days? Pair the East Tokyo Tour and West Tokyo Tour to get a well-rounded experience. Interested in anime? The Anime Tour is flexible and can be tailored to match your specific interests. For those looking to go beyond the city, I also offer day trips to Nikko, Kamakura, and other nearby destinations. While most guests book Tokyo-based tours, I also guide in other regions—especially Kyoto, where I’ve visited every World Heritage Site. I regularly lead tours in Osaka, Nara, Nagoya, Hikone, and other locations easily reached by rail. Multi-day and custom tours are available on request. Full-Day Tour: 40,000 yen (8 hours) Full-Day Tour Outside of Tokyo: 40,000 yen + transportation Feel free to get in touch to plan a tour that fits your interests and travel plans.

Rieko T.
Hi, I am Rieko, you can call me Ricky. I am a National licensed English speaking tour guide. I was born in Yokohama, the neighboring city of Tokyo, and have lived there for a long time. So, I know a lot about Tokyo and the surrounding cities, such as Yokohama, Kamakura, Hakone, and Nikko. My favorite things to do are traveling and talking with people. I have traveled more than 30 countries in the world and talked with a lot of people worldwide. And it is fun to host people from all over the world. Cooking and eating are also one of my favorite things to do. Japan has a unique and a great food culture, and it is a great pleasure if I can introduce you various kinds of food you have never eaten before, and help you enjoy your stay in Japan. I have a lot of recommended destinations, yet flexible about them. I can make your own plan according to your requests. Let's enjoy a tour in Japan with me! I am really looking forward to meeting you! See you soon.

Ki M.
Hi! I’m Ki — your overly excited, always-curious, and sometimes accidentally funny Japan guide. I guide in Kanagawa, Yokohama, and Tokyo. I’m not just a guide — I’m also a photographer and video creator, which means two things: 1. You’ll get great photos of your trip, 2. And I’ll probably say “Wait! The light here is amazing!” at least three times a day. I guide in English, Japanese, and Chinese, so whether you’re asking “Where should we eat?”, “这是什么?”, or “どう行けばいいですか?” — I’ve got you covered! My tours are friendly, relaxed, and full of little surprises. I love showing travelers not only the famous spots, but also the cozy corners and hidden gems that make Japan special. Families, couples, solo travelers… everyone is welcome! I’m naturally optimistic, always smiling, and I truly believe the best part of any trip is the fun we don’t plan. My goal is simple: Make your day in Japan easy, fun, and memorable — with lots of laughter along the way. If you want a cheerful, flexible guide who can translate your cravings into real food, help you navigate the trains, and take great photos of you — I’m here! Let’s explore Japan together — one snack, one photo, and one “Ooh that’s cute!” at a time.

Mikhail B.
Hello, my name is Mikhail. I’ve been living in Japan for three years. I studied here, learned the language to JLPT N1 level, and became deeply familiar with the culture and everyday life. I speak English fluently and worked as a guide for a Japanese company for one year, mainly with English-speaking travelers. I truly love Japan — especially Tokyo, a city I know not just by its landmarks but also by its unique atmosphere. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and passion, guiding people through both famous sights and hidden local spots that most visitors never see. I love meeting new people and believe that every tour should feel personal, fun, and memorable.

Self-awareness Zen walk “Iza Kamakura — it’s time to go to Kamakura”
This walk, led by a local artist, emphasizes a quiet, meditative, and meaningful experience. It deliberately avoids crowded tourist spots and streets, instead offering a tranquil route through the green hills that gently slope toward the ocean. Along the walk, we will visit four temples — three of which belong to the Rinzai school of Zen Buddhism — including one founded by Eisai, the monk who introduced Zen Buddhism and culture of green tea to Japan.

“Relaxing day with Nahomi”
Hi, we're looking for a good local Japanese tour of areas outside of Tokyo that normally tourists would not go to. Nahomi contacted us before the tour started and wanted to know what we wanted to see, eat and do tofay. She was very flexible and adjusted our itinerary to see, eat and do what we preferred. Because my wife couldn't walk fast because of a back surgery, our pace was a little bit slower. Our tour was suppose to be 5 hours but ended up to be 6 1/2 hours. We highly recommend using Nahomi and we plan to take her Kamakura tour during our next visit to Japan. Thank you, Nahomi!

Thank you so much for joining my tour yesterday! You were both so kind and full of humor—James with your gentle heart and Mija with your wonderful grace. The weather was hot and humid, so I wasn’t sure how well I could adjust the tour for you, but I’m really glad to know you both enjoyed it. I also felt that you are such an inspiring couple, really my ideal image for the future. I am really looking forward to meeting again the next time you come to Japan. Thank you also for sharing the beautiful photos! Wishing you a wonderful journey from today onward!
