“Fabulous Nara & Kyoto tour ”
Our tour in Nara, Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, and Fushimi Inari was absolutely fabulous! We even had the unforgettable experience of wearing kimonos while walking around the Narashima Pagoda area — such a magical way to see Kyoto’s beauty and culture. Tomoe-san made sure we had an amazing time, tailoring everything to our interests and needs at every step. Her warmth, organization, and attention to detail made our Kyoto trip truly special. We’re so grateful for the experience and all the wonderful memories! Brian & Angelica O

“Amazing guided tour”
Akira was a consummate professional and very knowledgeable. He was very responsive to my inquiries while trying to plan my visit to Kyoto. He communicated and arranged to pick us up at Kyoto Station. Not only was he a professional tour guide, he customized our tour at the last minute to include a remote spot to accommodate my daughter’s interests. He also recommended a lovely yutofu restaurant near Nanzenji. My daughter’s friend who didn’t like tofu in the US, loved the yutofu at Kyoto Goemon Chaya. We were able to get to Fushimi Inari before it got busy and enjoyed the torii gates. Akira gave us the history of Kyoto, Shinto shrines vs Bhuddist temples. We learned a lot from Amita. His love to share his knowledge of Kyoto and history will be remembered forever. We will definitely be recommending Akira to our friends in the future.

“A truly unforgettable experience”
Mana is a one of a kind tour guide. Her previous careers in education & police work give her a unique perspective on being a tour guide. The bamboo forest was particularly memorable. If you like sandwiches & coffee, ask her to take you to the Yamamoto cafe. We learned a lot & formed memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Dear Chase Thank you for sending me such a high-rated review as promised! And above all, I was so surprised by all the wonderful gifts! Every time I go to Yamamoto Café from now on, I’ll remember your mother’s name and your hometown. Thank you for the lovely memories, and please give my best regards to your mother. I hope your experience in Kyoto today will be just as wonderful Mana

Absolutely! Kyoto has achieved the perfect balance of remaining close to its historical roots as Japan's original capital, rich in culture and customs, while including modern conveniences and tourist-friendly services. It's one of Japan's most tour-conscious cities, next to Tokyo.
That's a tough one! Kyoto has history, slow living, and breathtaking landscapes. Osaka has fantastic food and modern conveniences and is slightly more affordable.
Osaka is great for;
Kyoto is ideal for;
The greatest thing about these two cities is that they're just a train ride away from one another. So whichever you decide, the other option is only 15 minutes away.
Kyoto is often considered more beautiful than Tokyo because of the visually stunning architecture and Edo period buildings, especially those that highlight the nagare-zukuri style. It’s almost like a time machine. City lovers will consider Tokyo more beautiful thanks to its glowing billboards, high-end hotels, buzzing restaurants, and nightlife. Our recommendation? See both and decide for yourself. Tokyo and Kyoto are only 2 hours apart.
