“Awesome Tour Guide!”

Niko is an absolutely wonderful tour guide and I cannot recommend her enough! From the very beginning, she was thoughtful and attentive. She taught me proper etiquette for riding the Metro, which was so helpful as a first-time visitor to Japan. She also gave me honest advice about Fushimi Inari Taisha, letting me know in advance that the walking might be challenging for me given my mobility needs — that kind of consideration really meant a lot. Instead we headed to the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, which was absolutely breathtaking, and explored some beautiful parts of Kyoto together. But the day didn’t stop there — we also made it to Osaka, where I finally got to see the famous Glico Running Man sign in Dotonbori, which has been on my bucket list! And to top it all off, we visited the Adidas store where I got to customize my own shirts — what an unforgettable experience! Niko is knowledgeable, caring, flexible, and truly goes above and beyond for her guests. If you’re visiting Kyoto or Osaka, she is absolutely the guide you want by your side. Mahalo

“Patient. Funny. Knowledgeable. All-in one great guide”

Hiroko impressed us deeply with knowing everything about the Japanes culture. Not just related to Kyoto. But any and all questions were answered with fact and details that made history come alive. Great vocabulary from the many years living in US made this worth every yen. We have learned more than we had hoped for. And the Hiroko topped it with finding a gem of a lunch restaurant - hidden completely from the average tourist’s path.

Jasmine was honestly one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had. My mother and I spent five hours with her in Kyoto, and I can genuinely say it was one of the highlights of our trip. She has this amazing ability to make history and culture feel interesting without it ever feeling like a lecture. Every question we asked was answered with so much knowledge, and you could tell how passionate she is about Kyoto. What really stood out to me though was how thoughtful she is. She picked up on what we enjoyed, adjusted the day naturally, and made everything feel relaxed and personal. She’s incredibly kind, easy to talk to, and just has a way of making you feel comfortable from the moment you meet her. She also has a fantastic eye for photography. Without us even having to ask, she knew all the best spots and took some of our favourite photos from the trip. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the whole experience even more special. Nothing felt rushed or forced. It honestly felt like we were spending the day with someone who genuinely wanted us to have the best experience possible. Her communication before and after the tour was also excellent, which made everything so easy. I’ve travelled quite a bit and done a lot of private tours, and Jasmine is right at the top. If you’re visiting Kyoto, I can’t recommend her highly enough. She made our day unforgettable, and it’s a memory my mother and I will always treasure. Thank you, Jasmine.
