“6 Stars for Family Kyoto Tour with Michiko”

This was my husband and my 3rd trip to Kyoto but first time with our kids. We had 2 memorable days with Michiko and wish we could have all our days in Japan with her. She planned our days so thoughtfully, keeping our interests in mind and what would be engaging for our kids. We were able to see so much more in our 2 days than we could have on our own. And we had 2 delicious lunches as well! We had activities planned that were enjoyable for all of us. Everyone had something they were excited about and she kept our days interesting, informative and fun. It felt like an insiders guide to Kyoto and I hope to return so we can spend more time with Michiko!

“Great Mount Fuji day-trip! ”

Aissam was all around wonderful for our Mount Fuji day trip! Past glowing reviews convinced me to book with him and I’m so glad we did. He was very flexible with our requests and found ways to avoid crowds when possible, showed us yummy snacks to try, and found the most amazing lunch place with gorgeous views of Mount Fuji! It was also super helpful that he spoke both Japanese and English fluently as well as French (my mother tongue) and Arabic (to practice with our daughter who’s learning Arabic). “Great 2 days in Kyoto with Shuji O”

Our second day getting to know Kyoto with Shuji O was just as great as the first. We spent the day wandering through neighborhoods and shrines far away from the usual tourist crowds, traveling mostly by foot and train. From the Vermillion Gates at Fushimi Inari to the sake museum and brewery lunch, everything was delicious and fascinating. We topped it off with the Geiko and Maiko Museum and a walk through Gion. Shuji turned our random travel notes into a perfectly relaxed two-day plan. He was so kind, attentive, and even sent us a bunch of photos he took along the way. We’re so glad we followed his advice!"
