“Engaging, Knowledgeable, and Fun!”
Lisa-san was such a pleasure to spend two days with. She is friendly, welcoming, and so knowledgeable. My partner and I hired her for a private two-day tour of Kyoto: she recommended a great itinerary, and even managed to fit in two more sites when we read our guide book and had a few additional gardens we wanted to see. The pace was great - time to explore the temples and grounds, learn about the history, walk through beautiful old lanes with some shopping. She welcomed all my questions - about Japanese history but also about life in modern day Japan. I took away so much more than I would have visiting these sites without her! I learned about Shinto and Buddhist rituals; samurai history; and architecture as a means of projecting power. Just stellar! Highly recommend, I’ll be telling anyone I know coming to Kyoto to reach out to her.

Deep Dive to Okinawa! - Edutainment Tour
“One day in Okinawa with a french family”
We had the most wonderful experience with Harry during our day in Okinawa! From the moment we met, his warm and friendly personality made us feel truly welcome. His deep knowledge of Okinawa’s history, culture, and hidden gems added so much richness to our visit. Not only did he take us to incredible places during the tour, but he also shared fantastic recommendations for local spots to explore on our own—places we would have never found without his insider tips! Thanks to him, we discovered amazing restaurants and off-the-beaten-path locations that made our stay even more special. If you’re looking for a guide who is both knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about sharing the best of Okinawa, Harry is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

Of course, March to May is Sakura season, so tourism is high during this time. To escape the crowds, try traveling from December to February. June to August is hot and moist, and May to June is rainy.
