It's only 90 minutes from central Tokyo and has lots of attractions such as various unique museums , historical spots and shrines ,

In case of bad weather, ships and ropeways can be out of service.

Also , in Owakudani , vaolcanic strolling area can be closed because of heavy sulfur gas .

“A great introduction to Tokyo ”

Had a great time meeting Kahoko. We visited a number of places and Kahoko was full of interesting knowledge of the areas. She also gave me great information for accessing the Shinkansen at Tokyo Station which made my later journey to Osaka very easy.
