It's only 90 minutes from central Tokyo and has lots of attractions such as various unique museums , historical spots and shrines ,
and of course amazing nature like ”Great boiling Valley", an active volcanic zone .

Owakudani , an active volcanic valley
Hakone open air museum / one of the must-see
Gora Park with seasonal flower garden, tea houses , and craft shops
Hakone shrine with great ceder forest ( optional plus 1 hour )
Hakone Sekisho , a checkpoint of Edo period ( optional plus 1 hour / admission 500 yen per adult )
Hakone Yuryo , a hot spring ; public outdoor baths or private ones available (optional plus 1 hour / 1400 yen~ 5900 yen )

In case of bad weather, ships and ropeways can be out of service.
Also , in Owakudani , vaolcanic strolling area can be closed because of heavy sulfur gas .
All day available except Thursdays and Fridays.
