About Tour Guide Emiko M.

Hi, I am Emiko, Hiroshima Prefectural Government Licensed Guide Interpreter.

I was born and raised in Hiroshima, and I love sharing the history, culture, and everyday life of this beautiful region with visitors from around the world.

As the child of an A-bomb survivor, Hiroshima's history is deeply personal to me. I believe that sharing its story of tragedy, resilience, and hope for peace is at the heart of my guiding.

In addition to Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park and Museum, I also enjoy introducing visitors to the beauty of Miyajima, Hiroshima Castle, Shukkein Garden, and other local treasures. I tailor each tour to your interests, whether history, culture, food, or daily life.

I always hope that our guests will take away lots of positive energy from Hiroshima, a city that was resilient and revived like a phoenix, in spite of its sad history.

While realizing customers' wishes, I will introduce you the beauty of Hiroshima, Miyajima and so on, which are tranquil and peaceful places with a unique charm that cannot be found in big cities.

I am happy to answer any questions about things Japanese.

I'll do everything to the best of my ability to make your trip enjoyable and fruitful.

I look forward to welcoming you and making your visit truly memorable!
