“Amazing day out in Osaka!”
Myself and my husband spent a day with Kazu exploring Osaka. Kazu was very friendly with excellent english. He developed an amazing itinerary for us both with a mix of things we both wanted to do (from historic shrines and sake tasting to anime/gaming shops and a local BBQ restaurant). I strongly recommend getting a local guide in Osaka to help prioritise and navigate around the main tourist sites but also to take you to good local places and more peaceful areas and shrines. Osaka can otherwise be a bit overwhelming with the amount of sites, restaurants, bars, shops etc. to visit! Kazu was able to show us many places we otherwise would have struggled to find. He was also very helpful and answered the many questions I had throughout the day. I would definitely have Kazu as our guide again.
“Amazing adventure in Hinohara! ”
Myself and my husband were staying in Shinjuku in Tokyo for a week and wanted a day away from the busy city. For a short travel time away, Hinohara was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful! Tak was very friendly and took us to stunning waterfalls, mountain views, shrines, a local onsen and restaurant. All of this we would never have been able to find ourselves. The onsen was very relaxing after some refreshing waterfall meditation! The traditional restaurant we went to was also one our favourite places to eat for the whole holiday! Tak knew many of the local people which was helpful and his english was very good - he managed well with our awkward northern accents! I strongly recommend getting a local guide if you want to explore and develop understanding of Japanese culture and local life as well as just visiting the main tourist sites. I cannot emphasise enough how friendly and knowledgable Tak was. He really helped us to make such special memories and the most of our time during our short trip to the national park! We would love to explore more of the Japanese countryside and would definitely have Tak as our guide again. Thank you Tak!!

“Two amazing days with Mimi!”
Myself and my husband spent 2 days with Mimi exploring Tokyo. Mimi was so friendly with excellent english! She developed such a lovely personalised itinerary for us both with a good mix of things we both wanted to do (from historic shrines and gardens to anime shops and maid cafes!). She was able to take us to local spots for amazing food and talk us through shrine/temple etiquette and Shinto prayer rituals (I definitely suggest learning this before visiting any shrines/temples). I strongly recommend getting a local guide in Tokyo if you want to explore and develop understanding of Japanese culture and local life as well as just visiting the main tourist sites. Our tours with Mimi felt just like a day trip out with a friend and I cannot emphasise enough how lovely and knowledgeable she is. She really helped us to make the most of our short time in Tokyo and I would definitely have her as our guide again! Thank you so much Mimi!!
