We visit a historical city, Kamakura where Japan's first shogunate (feudal government) existed from the 12th to the 14th century. It takes about 1 hour by train from Tokyo to Kamakura. There are a lot of Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines. I chose must-see places for you. We also enjoy streetcar ride in the city.

We enjoyed going around Tsukiji outer market. At Hamarikyu Gardens I was curious about the “mound” with a door that I saw and Shoji explained the purpose of it very well. Shoji brought us to a nice place for tempura at Asakusa. I wish we had enough time to visit the museums at Ueno Park. Shoji obliged when I requested to go back to have photos of Rodin’s sculptures. And we’d like to thank Shoji for including an additional stop (Yushima Tenjin Shrine) in our tour at our request.
I am very grateful to your kind words. I am really glad to hear that you enjoyed the Tokyo tour with me. I had a great time with you too. Thank you again for choosing me. I hope we will see you again soon!
Shoji provided us with a great overview of some main attractions in Tokyo. He allowed for a flexible itinerary and was happy to change it as the day went along if there was something we were interested in doing or seeing. We had a fabulous day with him and really enjoyed his company. his personality and demeanor are very calm and it is easy to spend time with him. He arrived on time and had good explanations of all sites. He was happy to answer any questions throughout the day as well and we had many! We will be happy to go another tour with him when we can!!
