Hello,
I'm Yoji, based in Kanazawa.
I spent my formative years in Kanazawa and pursued my master's degree in the United States. Having lived in Washington D.C. and California for six years, I then resided and worked in China and various Southeast Asian countries. My passion lies in exploring new destinations and connecting with people worldwide. Now, it's my turn to extend the same hospitality I've received to you. I specialize in crafting personalized tours tailored to your interests and preferences. If you're a food enthusiast, you've come to the right place. For those seeking to delve into Japan's rich history and culture, I highly recommend joining my full-day tour in Kanazawa. Additionally, I offer tours to Shirakawago and Takayama. Let's embark on an unforgettable journey together.

“Top rate tours and guide”
Yoji was a fantastic guide. He was knowledgeable, accomadating, and easy to work with. In the few days we were guided by Yoji, we were able to see the sites of Osaka, Nara and Himeji. We saw things and experienced things we would not otherwise have done had we not been with Yoji. His English is exceptional and his suggestions were spot on. He is very understanding of each groups wants and needs and works hard to make sure you are happy. We had a fantastic time with Yoji. His easy going and fun personality fit us perfectly and we made the best memories with not only a great guide but a new friend. Arigato Yoji!

“Excellent Trip”
The trip with Yoji San is incredible from start to finish. He knows the area very well, has excellent driving skills, and goes the extra mile as a guide to customize the experience to your wishes and availability. He also knows great places to eat, which also adds to the experience. If you want, in addition to a great adventure, you'll have a good friendship with Yoji San. Highly recommended.

“Two fascinating days with Yogi”
We spent two days with Yogi in and around Kanazawa in early March. One day was spent seeing the highlights of the city and the other in a car visiting Sirakawa-go and Takayama. He knew all the best highlights and vantage points for photos. We enjoy history and Yogi delivered on that point too. He made recommendations for places to visit on our third day when we were venturing out alone. Additionally he made a reservation for us at an historic tea room for a ceremony on our solo day - an experience not to be missed. We were so taken with the Kenroken gardens that my husband now wants to return to visit the other two “great gardens” of Japan. I also want to put in a plug for Busaka restaurant (8 seats) which we had booked before arriving. When we told Yogi we were going there he said “my friend is the owner and chef!” It was the best meal we had in Japan.

Thank you very much for such a great comment and review on my tour and me! I had wonderful days with both of you. Please come back to Japan for other 2 gardens!! I agree that Busaku is the best!! It was great meeting both of you. Fantastic time to me as well. Best regards, Yoji
