Yuriko was a very nice and knowledgeable guide. She explained the history of geishas in Gion very well. My mother and I enjoyed our one hour with her.
Dear NuruI Thank you very much for your review. I was so happy to have an opportunity to introduce history of maiko and geisha to both of you. Many thanks for having me as your guide. I hope to see you and your Mom again. Best regards Yuriko
I had a wonderful day with Yuriko-san touring Arashiyama. We enjoyed a beautiful boat ride, delicious lunch and exciting rickshaw ride. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!
Dear Lisa-san I can't thank you enough for your prompt and kind review. I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed the Arashiyama day trip. I also had a lot of fun sharing a wonderful time with you ! Many thanks for having me as your guide. The time I spent with you will be in my heart forever. Please take good care of yourself and I truely hope to see you again. Best regards Yuriko
Highly recommend hiring Yuriko as a private tour guide! Working within a time constraint and unsure of how best to manage our expectations (with so little time and so much to see), Yuriko patiently helped us plan a perfect 1/2 day tour prior to our arrival. We were able to see the sights most important to us and move at our own pace. Yuriko used her teaching skills to fill in the blanks, keep us on track, show us some areas of interest away from the crowds and ultimately get us to our final destination on time! It was a wonderful, enlightening day full of memories we will forever cherish! Thanks again Yuriko!
Dear Susan Thank you very much for your kind review ! It was a great honor to show you around beautiful Kyoto. I was impressed with the fact that you had a deep interest and respect for Japanese culture. We had such a wonderful time walking down stone-paved streets and talking about so many topics !! Thanks again for choosing me as your guide. That was a memorable 1/2 day I would never forget. Many thanks Yuriko
Had an interesting day at Arayashima Bamboo Forest / Kiyomizu Dera Temple and Gion District
Dear Matthew It was an honor to spend a wonderful time with you and your wife. Thank you very much and I really appreciate it. I hope you will come back to Kyoto. Sincerely Yuriko
