- Begin your day at the Kyoto Tourist Information Center, located on the second floor of Kyoto Station. Your enthusiastic local guide will greet you and kick off the adventure!
Hokanji Temple, Ninenzaka & Sannenzaka
Explore the historic streets of Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka, filled with traditional shops and delicious treats. Enjoy a delightful lunch followed by a unique furoshiki (Japanese wrapping cloth) making workshop, where you’ll learn and create your own beautiful cloth wrap.
Iconic Kiyomizudera Temple
Discover Kiyomizudera, one of Kyoto’s most iconic temples. Take in the stunning panoramic views from its wooden stage and explore the rich history. (Admission: 500 yen per person)

“An extraordinary day far away in the mountain!”
What a day this was. I am really not sure I will share many pictures, it is a place to visit with Kazu. Kazu has been a wonderful guide in this beautiful and unusual place. A lot to see plus a wonderful tofu based lunch in the village, we had a blast that day! Plan to be ready to walk a bit as the cemetery must be discovered by foot. Thanks again Kazu for these days in Osaka and around!
