Yacco M.
Hi, I’m Yacco, a friendly and passionate local guide. I was born and raised in Shizuoka and have lived in Yokohama for over 30 years. For the past several years, I’ve been guiding international visitors in Kamakura, Yokohama, and Tokyo as a volunteer, helping them discover the rich history, culture, and hidden charm of these unique cities. Traveling abroad creates once-in-a-lifetime memories, and I would love for you to fully experience the beauty and spirit of my favorite towns. I not only enjoy showing historical and modern landmarks, but also love introducing quiet backstreets, seasonal flowers, cozy cafés, and delicious local food that reflect the charm of everyday life. What I enjoy most is comparing Japanese traditions with my guests’ own cultures and histories—these conversations often lead to deep and inspiring exchanges. As your guide, I’m happy to customize tours based on your interests, whether you’re seeking unique experiences, historical insights, or local flavors. Let’s walk, talk, and create unforgettable memories together!

I am excited to announce that I have started offering tours in Odawara! Odawara is a historic castle town located just an hour from Tokyo, famous for its impressive Odawara Castle, beautiful views of both the sea and mountains, and its role as the gateway to Hakone. In addition to exploring the castle and tasting local specialties such as fresh seafood and kamaboko (fish cakes), you can also enjoy many Instagram-worthy spots, from the scenic coastline to charming traditional houses that give a glimpse of Japan’s past. Odawara is still less crowded compared to other popular destinations, so it’s a great time to visit. I look forward to welcoming you and creating wonderful memories together!

Agustina .
Hi! My name is Agustina. I’m originally from Argentina, and I’ve been living in Japan for about seven years. I have been working as a tour guide in Tokyo for almost two years, especially in the Asakusa area. During this time, I have guided over 300 walking tours for international visitors, so guiding in Asakusa is something I already do regularly and truly enjoy. In my tours, I like to explain Japanese culture in a clear, friendly, and easy-to-understand way. I focus not only on the history of the places we visit, but also on the meaning behind temples, shrines, traditions, local customs, and everyday life in Japan. I guide in English and Spanish, and I enjoy creating a relaxed experience where guests feel comfortable asking questions. Since my tours are private, I can adapt the pace and explanations to your interests. Whether it is your first time in Tokyo or your first visit to Asakusa, I’ll do my best to make the experience comfortable, interesting, and fun.

Japan Tour Reviews
Rodrigo A.
“great guide with kids”
We had a fantastic experience with Hardy in Tokyo. He is extremely knowledgeable about the city and was especially great with our kids, which made a huge difference for our family. From the beginning, he understood exactly what we wanted to see and helped us plan our days so we could make the most of our time. He took us through so many different parts of Tokyo, including places and museums that were particularly interesting for the children, and shared lots of details and insights along the way. One of the things we appreciated most was how much he taught us about getting around Tokyo. He showed us how to use the trains and navigate the city confidently, and even on our last day he made sure we knew how to continue exploring on our own. We spent several days with Hardy, coordinating some activities with him and doing others independently, and the whole trip worked perfectly. By the end, we honestly felt like we had not left an inch of interesting Tokyo unseen! Hardy was knowledgeable, patient, flexible, excellent with children, and very attentive to what our family wanted to experience. He played a big part in making our time in Tokyo such a great trip. We highly recommend him, especially for families who want to really discover Tokyo rather than just visit the main tourist spots.

“THE ABSOLUTE BEST GUIDE WE HAVE EVER MET”
We spent yesterday touring Osaka with Nicolas, and he is without a doubt the best guide we have ever met! From the very beginning, he was incredibly responsive and open to all our questions even the day before the actual tour. His customer service and dedication are top-notch; he even met us at the station to pick us up and made sure we safely boarded the right train back at the end of the day. What makes Nicolas truly exceptional is how he tailors his approach. He has a very jovial, sweet, and funny personality, and he explains things in a way that perfectly fits todays modern clients. He has a massive and impressive knowledge of Japanese history, as well as the country’s economic and financial situation over the past 20 years. He seamlessly blends expert explanations with a hilarious twist, and he is a master at tuning into the specific needs and questions of his customers. He is just enormously sympathetic and made our time in Osaka unforgettable. If you are looking for an amazing guide in Japan, look no further! Jochen&Koen

“Excellent guide”
Kanae was amazing, she was prompt, clean car and very friendly with excellent English. She was very good with the kids and chatted to them a lot. She had cold drinks for all of us too, water and refreshing lychee juice which was really appreciated in this heat and even shared her cooling wipes with us - which really helped in this heat. Would definitely recommend her to anyone visiting Kyoto.
