Sweet November (Weekday Afternoon) at Lake Kawaguchiko
Mt. Fuji isn't always visible, but during Autumn and Winter, we have a better chance of seeing it.
Please choose the spots in the highlights you would like to visit around Kawaguchiko near Mt. Fuji, based on your interest/preferences, your physical condition and the weather. It depends on which ones you choose, but I'll do my best to arrange it the way you can visit more than three of them.

Option: 3) Kawaguchiko 20 minute Lake Cruise (Adults ¥930・Children 6-12 years old ¥470 / COMBINATION TICKET of 3)&4) ¥1300）
Option: 4) Kawaguchiko Museum of Art （Adults/University Students ￥800 Jr. & Sr. High school students ￥500)
Option: 5) Kawaguchiko Music Forest Museum（Adults ￥1,500 University and High school students ￥1100 Elementary and Jr. High ￥800 AFTER 16:00 ￥500)
Option: 6) Kubota Ichiku Kimono Museum （Adults 1,300 yen, College and High School Students ￥900, Jr. High and Elementary ￥400）

Transportation fare (You and guide: Shinjuku to Kawaguchiko Round trip by highway bus is ￥3500, by trains ¥6580.
If you'd like to visit several spots along the Lake, the Loop bus One Day Ticket ￥1300 might be convenient.)

Tour Important Information
CHECK THE WEATHER FORECAST of LAKE KAWAGUCHIKO AREA ONLINE, please.
I'll keep my fingers crossed, but you can NOT ALWAYS have the view of Mt. Fuji.
IF YOU'RE GOING TO USE JR PASS, please let me know. （From Otsuki to Kawaguchiko Station, you have to pay ￥1140 at least for Fujikyu Line.)
Chuo Highway buses are less expensive and reasonable, basically punctual but sometimes might get jammed due to traffic congestion.
Some are fully booked up, so advance booking is desirable.
As Lake Kawaguchiko is approximately two hours from Shinjuku, we will spend four hours at Lake Kawaguchiko unless you request extra hours.
It is impossible to go to all of the options in a day.
WEARING WALKING SHOES/SNEAKERS are recommendable, whichever options you choose.
It's becoming colder and especially on the Lake Cruise, it is recommendable to bring glooves and a jacket with you.
Lake Kawaguchiko area is usually five degrees Centigrade lower than Tokyo.
We will basically use buses around Lake Kawaguchi unless you're willing to pay for taxi fares.
The loop buses run approximately every fifteen minutes.
If you hope the tour to start or end around Kawaguchiko/Fujisan area, I will send you a new itinerary after your inquiries, so please let me know.
This tour will be held only on WEDNESDAYS, THURSDAYS and FRIDAYS in November.
Important message from the guide
It will be first booked, first served basis, but could you make inquiries before booking?
If you're interested in TOKYO, MOUNT FUJI, or NIKKO, please CHECK the TOURS before you make inquiries.
(Some transportation for Mount Fuji or Nikko might be fully booked if you do last minute booking.)
I could also guide KYOTO, HIMEJI etc. if you will cover my transportation fare round trip from Tokyo.
If you'd like a car chartered, please check the PRIVATE CARS TOUR by yourself.
It's concerned with your budget, so I'm afraid I cannot make arrangements for that, but I will be happy to guide you with the car you chartered.
It's impossible to make quotes without knowing the spots you would like to visit.
Nikko and Mount Fuji are approximately two hours on Limited Express from Shinjuku or Asakusa.
Tokyo is not a compact city, but a huge one.

“Not what we expected”
We expected to have a deep dive on Japan culture and history during the tour. Instead we had a rushed and intense walk + subway tour that was neither inspiring or informative. The highlight was that the say was beautiful abd we got to see many of the cherry blossoms in full bloom.

I wish you would ask more questions for what you were looking for. I explained about Shogun and the history of Sensoji Asakusa. I hope the rest of your trip went well.
“Knowledgeable and flexible ”
Yoko was very knowledgeable about everyplace we visited. She was also understanding of my slower walking pace. I knit and crochet and she helped me find some Made in Japan yarns I can't find in the USA. Thank-you for the history lessons and fun quizzes!

If you are visiting Tokyo you need Yoko. She is very knowledgeable about Tokyo. She customized a perfect day for our families first visit. She was able to make sure everyone in the group got to see or do something they wanted. Helpful every step of the way 10/10.
