Ready to explore Nara? Enjoy one-day tour of the outskirts of Nara other than Daibutsu and deer. We start for Chinese priest-founded Toshodaiji Temple which played an important role in the history and development of Buddhism in the 7th century. Then we go to Yakushiji Temple famous for two three-storey pagodas. After lunch we visit Horyuji Temple, a hightlight of the tour. The temple is one of the Japan's oldest temples consisting of many wooden structures arranged on the spacious grounds.
