Hi, I'm Yoko, a National License Tour Guide&International Kikisake-shi.
I speak with an American accent, 'cause I lived in Seattle, Washington for six years in my childhood(3-9 years old). My tours might be better with people who LOVE TO WALK, have STAMINA and keen to learn about the culture.
Now I live within a walking distance from Ueno Park, Tokyo, so I see a lot of International tourists walking around in my neighborhood every day.
(PLEASE CHECK EACH TOUR. The expenses are spelled out, too.)
"Tokyo is larger than we thought and the transportations are so complicated," Swedish guys told me. I'm here to help you. I know well about Tokyo, Yokohama, Yamanashi etc. and I travel most of the parts of Japan.
I would appreciate if you could see more sightseeing spots with me as your guide and enjoy your stay.
I love to answer your questions, even though I became nearly breathless when I was with American guests, a family of three, curiously asking me questions after questions:-)
I appreciated their interest in Japan very much.
I also go mountain trekking for nearly thirty years. I've been to the summit of Mt. Fuji and Mt. Kitadake three times. Talking about Mt. Takao, maybe more than fifty times.
I hope we can enjoy the beautiful view together.
I'm looking forward to seeing you soon and having a good time together.
Hope to hearing from you soon.

“Beautiful day in Nikko”
The day could not have been more beautiful. Yoko is a fountain of information. She was also very patient with us and that might not of been the easiest thing to do and I appreciate that very much. Thank you Yoko for your tips and all the info you gave us to make our trip better.

(140 reviews)I appreciate your wonderful review, Fanny san. It was really nice meeting you and Alex. It was a beautiful day just like your name bringing the amazing weather. I was akso quite surprised with Alex knowing Amaterasu and so many other things about Japan. I hope you enjoyed the Izakaya dinner. It is a good way to experience a lot of different kind of Japanese cuisine. I hope you enjoy the rest of your stay so if l have any questions feel free to send them. Thank you again for the review and the wonderful day. Have fun, please!!
“Do not use this guide, bad experience ”
This guide was searching personal information about my friends and told me, I see your friend is an attorney in the USA, so he should be able to pay admission fees. I was asking how much yen we needed to bring on the tour and she said you need to bring cash to tip me and if your friends are adults and not minors they should have cash in their wallets, she knew that he was an attorney so it was a sarcastic statement. Her communication with me was combative at times. She refused to give me even a rough itinerary or agree to one that I sent her and told me I was an amateur and when I said that I wasn’t sure if she was trying to be rude but saying that is rude she just said I was rude for asking questions about a tea ceremony., Yoko kun doesn’t have a good grasp of English or manners and is not ethical. She can say words in English but she doesn’t understand the meanings and how rude the things that she says are. I tried to get her replaced but they said everyone was fully booked and they would not refund the money for the tour I was getting for my friends. My friends said she was very strange and they would never go on a tour with her again. It was like a fatal attraction thing and she stalked us online… very strange. The company is aware of this and apologized multiple times and said they were going to train her and take disciplinary actions. I will post the conversations I have screenshots of on a google review.

(140 reviews)Sir, why are you writing a nutty review? You're friends are much matured than you think they are.
“Exciting guided tour with Yoko”
exciting guided tour through TOKYO, 8 hours flew by, yoko can tell so much that one day is not enough. We could have booked her for three days and she would still know so many interesting things about the City. With Yoko you should be fit, you will Walk some distances, that was also a reason why we booked her. In summary: an perfekt day!
