Incredible Nikko One Day Customized Tour
We will visit a World Heritage site Nikko in one day from Tokyo. On our way to and from Nikko, you will enjoy a beautiful scenary of country side of Japan which is totally different from a big city like Tokyo. After visiting temples and shrines in the devine town of Nikko, we will further climb to the highland to see a magnificent waterfall of Kegon-no-taki waterfall to enjoy a great natre.

Toshogu Shrine; 17th century shinto shrine, a landmark monument and a graveyard of Tokugawa Ieyasu, first Shogun who opened the government in Edo
Rin-noh-ji Temple; 9th century buddhist temple to mark the origin of devine sanctuaries of Nikko famous for Three Guilded wooden Statues of Kwannon Buddhas
Futara-san shrine; 9th century shinto shrine, originally co-existed together with Rinnohji, but separated by the separation policy of Shintoism and Buddhism by the Meiji government
Taiyu-in Mausoleum; 17th century shinto shrine, enshrined is the 3rd Shogun, Tokugawa Iemitsu, less decorative by wish but stunningly beautiful
Shinkyo bridge; devine bridge that segrigates outer(human) world and inner(devine) world
Tamozawa Imperial villa memorial park ; former Imperial resort house, typical Japanese style houses and garden, some of which were 18th century ex-daimyo residence moved from Tokyo and restored in Nikko
Kegon-no-taki Waterfall; landmark waterfall of Japan, famous for its beauty including the nature of surrounding areas
Lake Chuzenji; volcanic 1600m highland volcanic lake made by the eruption of Mt.Nantai

transportation expense from Tokyo to Nikko (you and guide) around 5k yen (JR pass holders can be cheaper), local transportation expense in Nikko (you and guide) (bus) around 2k yen, admission fee (you and guide )around 3k yen, lunch (you and guide) 1.5-2k yen
For those who meet up in Nikko, transportation and total tour hours may differ.
Tour Important Information
Town is located in the highland of 600m and further to the north climb up to 1200m. So warm clothing is recommended.
The areas because of its nature as a place of worship and disciprine, are not necessarily barrier free. So please wear an easy footwear.
Even if you are not confident about your strength, don't be afraid. There are always way to avoid difficulty and enjoy this devine sanctuary with me.

My tours basically start and end in the Tokyo area. Please note if start from outside Tokyo, transportation fee (to and from) for guide incurred will be added. I would also appreciate being asked about the availability before booking.

“A tour guide and a friend.”
The weather is cold and its raining, but this guy never stops showing us the views of Narita. It was almost 7pm when the tour was over, we’re about to leave Japan at the departure lobby when i found out that my bag is missing and realized i forgot the bag in the restaurant where we eat ramen. Yoshihisa is the first person entered into my mind to ask for help. He answered quickly without hesitation, he took the train, went back to the restaurant and brought my missing bag within 30min. I dont know how i will thank this guy that time. It’s our first time in Japan with a good guide, very professional, he got knowledge, speaks very calm and friendly, Its unforgettable. From the moment that we met at the gate, I didn't feel like we met for the first time. I was glad that you enjoyed every feature of the temple, the gate, the insence burner, the tower, the front market etc. Yes, the incident at the end was a bit surprise, but even pleasant. It even added a good memory of our friendship. Now I can't believe that it was such a short period of time that we were together.
