A Half Day Tour in Takayama
This half day tour is a walking tour.I will take you at least 3 places out of 4 places in the highlights, such as Takayama Jinya, Sanmachi, Miyagawa morning market and Takayama Festival Floats Exhibition Hall. It is really depends on how long you would like to spend at each place.
Meeting Point
At your hotel, if you are staying at a hotel in the center of Takayama or at a tourist information center in front of Takayama JR station
Takayama Jinya (The only remaining local government office of the 17th century)
Sanmachi (Nationally recognized important historical building preservation area )
Miyagawa morning market (one of the biggest morning markets in Japan )
Takayama Festival Floats Exhibition Hall (Festival floats are displayed)

Inclusions & Exclusions
guide fee, a hotel pick-up service in the center of Takayama
A guide's transportation fee from home to your hotel is about 2,000 yen. Lunch, Entrance fee(430 yen for Takayama Jinya and 900 yen for Festival Floats Exhibition Hall)
If we use buses during the tour because of your physical conditon, bus fares are not included. A single fare is about 100-210 yen(The tour is basically a walking tour.)

I am available for the tour from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.I can not accept a night tour.
I would appreciate it if you book this tour at least a week earlier than the date of the tour.

Good English language. Takayama not much to see. We had half a day. We discussed what time to start and informed that the market Area is not of or interest. On the day she told us that we had to wait before the first attraction would open, so we Will spent first half our at the market. But she really adapters the rest of the tour to our whishes.

Visitors can walk here and there and discover a true life which is not written in a guidebook. Please come back here again in a different season ! I am sure you will see a lot of new things.
