Walking through the museum with your English-speaking guide
Recommendations and information after the tour are included.
At the entrance hall of Otsuka Museum of Art or the entrance of Uzunomichi (depends on the tide timetable)
Uzunomichi is an above sea promenade to look at the Naruto whirlpools. This 450 m-long promenade has a wire netting fence on either side so that while you can feel the wind and sound, you can also enjoy the wonderful view of the magnificent Naruto Channel. And you can also experience the thrilling view through the glass floors of an observatory at 45 meters above the sea. But the whirlpools vary in size and intensity depending on the tides, so I will check the tide timetable before your visit to Naruto and arrange your tour schedule so that you can see the whirlpools on that day.
In Otsuka Museum of Art, more than 1,000 world-famous masterpieces held in over 190 museums in 25 countries worldwide have been reproduced on ceramic plates exactly the same sizes and colors as the originals, and are exhibited there.
On this tour I will show you highly favored masterpieces in the museum for 2 hours.
Foreign visitors usually rent audio guide players for 500 JPY because there are no regular tours with English-speaking guide in the museum.
I would like to offer foreign visitors the same experience as Japanese visitors have.
