Waterbus on the Sumida Riveer
In the Tsukiji Fish Market, you can try some food and enjoy shopping. At Tsukiji Uogashi, a fresh food market separated into two wings, you will find seafood, fruit and vegetables on the 1st floor. I'd also recommend to have Sushi breakfast at the restaurant there.
Hamarikyu is a beautiful Japanese garden with a 350-year old history. The garden served as a detached residence for Tokugawa Shoguns before serving a villa for the Imperial Family. You can enjoy Japanese sweet with a cup of green tea looking at the garden.
A cruise on the Sumida River will take you underneath 14 bridges as you see the unique architectural landmarks of Asahi Brewery Company Headquarters and houses along the riverbank.
After disembarking from the waterbus, you will first see the Kaminarimon Gate with a big lantern. If you enter through the gate, the Nakamise streets extends from the front gate to Hozomon of a main hall. The Nakamise is lined with about 90 venders selling Japanese handicrafts and food. Then you will see Asakusa Shrine which attract more than 30 million people every year from all over the world. Asakusa was the center of the Edo culture and preserves the appearance of old Edo, Tokyo's downtown atmosphere.
