“2 days with Taro”
I booked Taro for 1/2 day shopping, anime tour for our group of four. We have two teens and they are into anime. Taro knew where to take us and showed us areas that the boys could shop and comeback to on their own. The next day Taro picked us up at our hotel and we did historical areas. We went to Edo castle and then onto the Meiji shrine. We all ate lunch together at a wagyu beef restaurant. The price was so reasonable compared to USD. I would use Taro again if I visit Tokyo in the future.

“Coolest Guide Around! ”
If you’re looking for a non-traditional tour around the most fashionable area in Tokyo, Shimokitazawa, then Taro is your guy! We explored a bunch of thrift shops, music/record shops and izakayas. We even went out clubbing! On top if that, Taro is such a cool person that the conversations will never be boring. You will 100% be missing out if you don’t consider this tour.

Tokyo Cultural Exploration and Night Out
“Private family tour of Tokyo! ”
I took my 2 young sons (ages 7 & 10) to Tokyo for the first time and booked a 3-day private tour with Taro as I wanted to maximize our short stay. He was very accommodating and created a customized itinerary which included all of our requests … culture, food, and specific kid-focused activities. Taro is a very detail-oriented person so exploring Tokyo each day with him was so easy and fun! The kids felt comfortable with him from the start and he was patient with their attention span and mindful of their fatigue levels. Taro made our trip an unforgettable experience and I cannot recommend him more highly! Domo arigato gozaimasu, Taro!

(11 reviews)Thank you so much for your warm review! The three days we spent together were incredibly special to me. Hanging out with your family was so much fun. Your kids are absolutely adorable! Playing with toy Godzilla with them reminded me of my own childhood. It was a true pleasure for me to be a part of your travels. From the owl café to the gaming arcade, touring with you guys made me realize how unique our culture is. Thank you again, and I look forward to seeing you all again soon.
