“Great tour!”
Grant did an exceptional job. He met us on time at an easy to find location. He customized our tour and made traveling by train to cover a lot of ground quickly a breeze. The intermittent train rides were appreciated as it was a warm day and our tour involved a lot a walking. What was really nice is that at the end of the day, he made sure that we made it back to our hotel and provided a written summary of everything that we had visited during our tour. As a fellow/former “Nebraskan” his English was much appreciated!

“A Lovely Day with Hideo visiting Kochi.”
My family of five had a wonderful day touring via private taxi with Hideo visiting Kochi's top sites during our short window during our port stop from our cruise. You have to pay extra cash for the taxi, but this was still cheaper than the excursions offered via our cruise ship for our family. Hideo was able to tailor our trip ahead of time and was very communicative about some changes that needed to be made due to the garden closure on our day in Kochi. Hideo walked with us in the city pointing out the famous red Harimaya Bridge and came back at the top of the hour to show us the beautiful mechanical clock. He walked with us and gave us excellent history at the Kochi Castle, at the Katsurahama Beach where we viewed the famous samurai Sakamoto Ryoma statue and had an excellent bonito/tuna meal (my girls had steak), and ice cream. Finally we toured the lovely Buddhist temple Chikurinji, temple 31 of the 88 on the island of Shikoku. Hideo was prompt, kind and modified his tour a bit when the very hot and humid weather slowed down the family. Hideo provided a wealth of information and answered all of the questions that we had about Kochi and Japan. I highly recommend using Hideo as a guide. You will be in very caring hands.

“Excellent guide and experience ”
We had the pleasure of exploring Nikko, Japan, with Keiichiro I. as our tour guide, and it was an unforgettable experience. Keiichiro’s deep knowledge of Nikko’s history, culture, and hidden gems brought each site to life with extraordinary insights we never would have discovered on our own. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made the entire day seamless and enjoyable. Thanks to Keiichiro, our visit to Nikko was not just sightseeing, but a meaningful journey we’ll always cherish. Highly recommended!

March to May and September to November are the best times to visit Japan because the weather is warm but not blazing and cool but not freezing.
Of course, March to May is Sakura season, so tourism is high during this time. To escape the crowds, try traveling from December to February. June to August is hot and moist, and May to June is rainy.
