Tour Important Information
Recently Japanese horses are getting strong. Some horses run in overseas prestigious races like Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. Horse racing is getting popular among Japanese people and would be the most typical gamble. You will enjoy not only horse racing itself but also watching how Japanese people are distracted on weekend. In case of a tour to the horse racing course, it is possible to see inside race course as general amusement place for Japanese people. In case of visiting WINS, you can choose Off-Track Betting Facilities near your hotel.
If you are lucky, you will get money (but it is NOT guaranteed).
In spring, autumn and winter, JRA horse races are held in Tokyo area in either Tokyo Racecourse (Fuchu, west of Tokyo) or Nakayama Racecourse (Funabashi, Chiba).
In summer, JRA horse races are held in local sites in Japan and this tour is done by visiting one of the Off-Track Betting Facilities (WINS) in Tokyo (or Yokohama) near your hotel.

This tour is basically available on every Saturday and Sunday, but also sometimes on Monday of national holiday when JRA (Japan Racing Association) horse race is held.

If your hotel is located in 23 wards of Tokyo, pick-up fee to the hotel is free.
Tours are basically done by using public transportation like trains and subways.

“An amazing educational and fun filled day!”
After completing a 10 day cruise around Japan, we wanted to take the opportunity to visit Tokyo. With only a three day stay, we knew that the only way to make the most of our time was to seek out an experienced tour guide. As the title references, the tour was extremely efficient. We managed to pack in all the locations on the itinerary while exploring many of the popular shopping districts such as Ameyayokocho on the way. As you can imagine, there's always many, many people in the subways and at all of the popular destination points. Toshihiro-san was always looking back to make sure we were right behind him. The highlight of this trip was the cherry blossoms; so beautiful and so plentiful. We just happened to be in Tokyo at the right time. We also enjoyed a wonderful sushi lunch at the fish market suggested by Toshihiro-san. Such a wonderful and memorable day! We will certainly be back again. Thank you Toshihiro-san!

It was helpful that you told me which places you had already visited in Japan. You were cooperative, and it was easy for me to make a Tokyo tour for you. We mainly visited unique and conspicuous spots in Tokyo which are different from other sites in Japan. Fortunately, cherry blossoms were very beautiful during our Tokyo tour. We visited famous cherry blossoms viewing spots. I am sure that you came to Japan in the best season. And surprisingly, you know very much about Sushi. You have good skills of using a pair of chopsticks. I appreciate that you tried traditional Japanese sweets several times. I enjoyed walking with you. Thank you again.
