Visiting Horse Racing Course of JRA (Japan Racing Association) or one of the Off-Track Betting Facilities with explanation of how to bet.
In case of Tokyo area, JRA races are held in either Tokyo Racecourse (Fuchu, west of Tokyo) or Nakayama Racecourse (Funabashi, Chiba).

Tour Important Information
Recently Japanese horses are getting strong. Some horses run in overseas prestigious races like Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. Horse racing is getting popular among Japanese people and would be the most typical gamble. You will enjoy not only horse racing itself but also watching how Japanese people are distracted on weekend. In case of a tour to the horse racing course, it is possible to see inside race course as general amusement place for Japanese people. In case of visiting WINS, you can choose Off-Track Betting Facilities near your hotel.
If you are lucky, you will get money (but it is NOT guaranteed).
In spring, autumn and winter, JRA horse races are held in Tokyo area in either Tokyo Racecourse (Fuchu, west of Tokyo) or Nakayama Racecourse (Funabashi, Chiba).
In summer, JRA horse races are held in local sites in Japan and this tour is done by visiting one of the Off-Track Betting Facilities (WINS) in Tokyo (or Yokohama) near your hotel.
Detailed information on schedule of JRA races can be obtained from JRA English web site.
This tour is basically available on every Saturday and Sunday, but also sometimes on Monday of national holiday when JRA (Japan Racing Association) horse race is held.

If your hotel is located in 23 wards of Tokyo, pick-up fee to the hotel is free.
Tours are basically done by using public transportation like trains and subways.

“Great Day!”
My son and I had a great day on the “Efficient One Day Tokyo Tour” with Toshihiro on June 14th. He met us right at the International Cruise Terminal and we got to see so much of Tokyo in our 8 hours. “Great day with Toshihiro-san!”
We booked the “Efficient One Day Tokyo Tour” with Toshihiro-san for May 17, 2025. Communication with him was easy, and he was quick to respond. He made recommendations for us, and helped customize our day to include places we were most interested in seeing. Toshihiro met us at the Tokyo International Cruise Port right on time the day of our tour. He helped us secure transportation tickets for the subway. We visited so many places in our 8 hours! And that was in the pouring rain - all day! We also had a very nice lunch at a place he recommended. His English was very good; he provided so much information, and answered all our questions about the places we saw. You had already visited some major touristic spots in Tokyo on the day before the tour offered by your cruise ship company. So itinerary was modified. Unfortunately it was a rainy day.
