Meiji Shrine & Harajuku

Begin in the peaceful Meiji Shrine, a beautiful forested escape in central Tokyo. Afterwards, walk through Harajuku’s lively Takeshita Street for colorful fashion and unique snacks.

Shibuya Scramble Crossing & Hachiko

Just a short ride from Harajuku, visit the world-famous intersection and meet Hachiko, the loyal dog. Enjoy the modern Shibuya atmosphere and perhaps visit a rooftop view spot like Shibuya Sky.

Lunch Time

Choose from sushi, wagyu, tempura, or modern Japanese. Recommendations available based on your taste and dietary needs.

Senso-ji Temple & Nakamise Street (Asakusa)

Travel across the city to historic Asakusa. Visit Tokyo’s oldest temple and explore traditional souvenir shops and street food stalls along Nakamise Street.

“Shunta helped plan a great trip; Kody and Masa helped execute it”

My husband and I booked a private tour to visit sites in Numazu connected with my family history, with a possible stop in Hakone. Shunta helped plan a great itinerary but became ill last minute—yet he arranged for Kota (Kody) and Masato (Masa) to take care of us so we didn’t have to cancel. They were wonderful! Kody went above and beyond, calling ahead to temples so we could have meaningful conversations about my family, and Masa was a safe, friendly driver. They even found us a fantastic seafood spot at Numazu Port and managed to fit in a quick visit to Hakone’s floating torii. A truly special and memorable day thanks to Kody and Masa!

“Not worth it overall, but Shunta was sick and needed a replacement last minute”

Shunta unfortunately got a fever the day before and had to find a friend to replace him last minute, after we had coordinated a customized full day tour for 7 people. Shunta's replacement was really nice, and a great fun person, but he was young (22 years old) and just did not have the experience or knowledge of the history of the main spots (Sensoji and Asakusa, Imperial Palace, Shinjuku, Tokyo Station) we were hoping to learn from. I had to ask him to look it up while in the car to explain to the family, which is not ideal. I've done many tours and most tour guides give the information and key spots, but then again it was a last minute replacement. Was not worth the money ($753 USD for 7 hours) based on this. I assume Shunta, based on his reviews and back and forth communication beforehand, would have been great, so it's unfortunate a backup tour guide just didn't have the experience and made our day less than ideal.
