Hi, I'm Yoko, a National License Tour Guide&International Kikisake-shi.
I speak with an American accent, 'cause I lived in Seattle, Washington for six years in my childhood(3-9 years old). My tours might be better with people who LOVE TO WALK, have STAMINA and keen to learn about the culture.
Now I live within a walking distance from Ueno Park, Tokyo, so I see a lot of International tourists walking around in my neighborhood every day.
(PLEASE CHECK EACH TOUR. The expenses are spelled out, too.)
"Tokyo is larger than we thought and the transportations are so complicated," Swedish guys told me. I'm here to help you. I know well about Tokyo, Yokohama, Yamanashi etc. and I travel most of the parts of Japan.
I would appreciate if you could see more sightseeing spots with me as your guide and enjoy your stay.
I love to answer your questions, even though I became nearly breathless when I was with American guests, a family of three, curiously asking me questions after questions:-)
I appreciated their interest in Japan very much.
I also go mountain trekking for nearly thirty years. I've been to the summit of Mt. Fuji and Mt. Kitadake three times. Talking about Mt. Takao, maybe more than fifty times.
I hope we can enjoy the beautiful view together.
I'm looking forward to seeing you soon and having a good time together.
Hope to hearing from you soon.

“Yoko exceed our expectations. ”
We booked our guide Yoko based on a recommendation from a relative. We had no idea of what a great decision that would turn out to be. Yoko readily adjusted our itinerary based on things we had already seen. And her depth of knowledge and the information she was able to share about the Meiji shrine was amazing. And her knowledge of the Imperial Palace gardens and grounds was equally superb. Perhaps the highlight of our tour was when she took us on a tour of “old Tokyo” where we walked through an old neighborhood, ate at a tiny neighborhood restaurant she knew of (and where they knew her) and visited several small neighborhood shrines and art galleries in some real out of the way places. It was the highlight of our tour. Yoko spoke excellent English and was a pleasure to talk to. Suffice it to say she far, far exceeded our expectations and truly made it the best day of touring in Tokyo. Highly recommend her with 5 plus stars.

(137 reviews)I appreciate you writing a superb review so soon, Dorine san and the kind words your husband Harvey told me after the tour. I also would like to thank your cousin Sheryl san for her recommendation. Yanaka is the old residential area where you can see some houses from the former century with some new ones where even the locals appreciate a lot. I'm quite grateful with your heartwarming comments that you made at each place we viisted. Chiyonofuji is the name of the Yokozuna that we saw a statue of one of the temples at the end of our tour. I hope both of you will also have a wonderful trip in China and come back in Spring and see the beautiful cherry blossoms. Thank you again for everything, Yoko

(137 reviews)Thank you so much for writing a review soon after the tour. It was a hot day but it was a lot of fun meeting you and your family. “An unforgettable day”
It was a true pleasure to spend a day with Yoko-san. Even before we met, she was super helpful with advice on hotels, transportation from the airport, etc. She also adjusted our tour schedule to follow the optimal route between the famous places in Tokyo, and to fit in the places we really wanted to see. We learned a lot about the city, and about Japanese culture and history in general. All in all, it was an unforgettable experience. Thank you so much, Yoko-san!

(137 reviews)Oh, thank you so much for such a lovely review, Dmitri san!! We really walked a lot that day. Starting from Asakusa, lotus pond of Shinobazu and Ueno Toshogu, Tsukiji Market, Sakuradamon Gate and Nijubashi Bridge of the Imperial Palace, Meiji Jingu Shrine, Takeshita Street and Omotesando. I was quite surprised that both you and your wife Hui san was walking in sandals but didn't complain about the long walk. I had a great time with you, your lovely wife Hui san and smart and beautiful daughter Maria. It was so interesting talking with you and your family. I hope Maria makes her dream come true and I will be looking forward to your revisit to climb Mount Fuji. Thank you again for the lovely day and your generosity. Yoko
