“Shibuya Area Food and Bar Tour”
Toshi was an excellent guide. He was very flexible with regard to what we wanted to experience and customized our tour based on our interests. Moreover, he took us to spots that were frequented more by locals rather then tourists which was much appreciated. His English was fluent and his demeanor was extremely pleasant and welcoming. He also shared valuable tips that allowed us to further enjoy our visit. We would highly recommend Toshi as a guide.

Hi! Thank you for booking my tour! I appreciate it. We started dinking at a Japanese local restaurant. And we ate Tonkatsu, deep fried pork at a Tonkatsu restaurant. And then we visited local craft beer bar. I’m glad to hear that you and your family enjoyed it! Your curiosity of Japanese culture and food made the tour more enjoyable! Many thanks, Toshi
“Wonderful Tour of Tokyo ”
We messaged Toshi to find out more about what his tour offered and he replied promptly and in great detail. Once we confirmed we would like to book our first tour of Tokyo with Toshi he reached out to me and asked if we had any other questions. Toshi went out of his way to provide us with helpful tips for when we first arrived in Tokyo including how to navigate from the airport to our hotel, sending app details for the IC card to help speed up using transport across Japan and local restaurants for our first night in Tokyo. Toshi met us as our hotel and took us to some really fantastic and interesting areas of Tokyo. We asked that Toshi made it fun for our teen who was travelling with us. We walked around the designer shopping area before arriving at Meiji Jingu Shrine. We had asked to go to the Mipig Cafe which Toshi had booked in advance. We walked through Harajuku Takeshita Street before going to the famous Shibuya crossing and dog statue where we went for lunch in a delicious and reasonably priced traditional Japanese restaurant. After lunch Toshi took us to Imperial Palace where he left us. Toshi was informative, polite, friendly and went out of his way to make our first impressions of Tokyo really fun and special. We had a lovely day and booked another two separate tours with Toshi for when we returned to Tokyo the following week. We highly recommend Toshi and he speaks excellent English and is very knowledgeable and made everything very accessible. Thank you
Toshiyuki D.
Thank you for booking the tour for your first day in Tokyo! Our chat before you arrived in Japan helped me understand better what you intend to do in Tokyo. Mipig Cafe was a surprise to me, even though it was my first time there! The lunch we had at the Japanese restaurant was enjoyable as well. Your family and you experienced a variety of traditional Japanese dishes!
“SUMO Training”
We mentioned to our guide Toshi that we would like to see some SUMO practice whilst we were in Tokyo. Toshi found a stables for us to visit and booked tickets. We met Toshi early in the morning at our local station and we took the subway to the stables. It was an incredible experience and our seats were in the front row. After the SUMO practice Toshi arranged for us to have our photos taken with two of the participants. Toshi travelled back with us to our hotel. A highlight of our trips to Tokyo, thank you
Toshiyuki D.
We watched the morning practice of SUMO on the final day of our tour. Luckily, I was able to get tickets for you, and I'm glad you had a great time watching it. You can definitely boast about this experience! It was obvious that your desire to have fun in Japan made the tour a success! I don't know how to say thank you. I really appreciate it so much! I look forward to meeting you again! Many thanks, Toshi
