09:30 AM

【Tsukiji Fish Market】 – The Kitchen of Tokyo – Savor fresh local flavors, meet welcoming vendors, and discover the cultural soul of Tokyo.

Tsukiji, often called “Tokyo’s kitchen,” is a vibrant place full of life and stories.

With a rich history of over 90 years, this iconic market is home to more than 400 unique shops—offering everything from the freshest seafood and seasonal vegetables to local delicacies and traditional kitchen tools.

It’s not just a market—it’s a window into the everyday culture of Tokyo.

As we stroll through the narrow lanes, we’ll enjoy tasting local favorites, chatting with warm-hearted vendors, and discovering how this special place has supported the city’s food scene for generations.

Let’s explore Tsukiji together in a way that’s both fun and deeply authentic—a truly memorable start to your journey in Japan.

12:00 PM

【Tokyo Station】 – A gateway of timeless elegance – Explore its refined surroundings with insights from a former Imperial Household Agency guide.

Let’s take a scenic bus ride through the heart of Tokyo.

From the lively atmosphere of Tsukiji Fish Market, we’ll glide past the sophisticated shopping streets of Ginza, and admire the striking red-brick façade of Tokyo Station—a beautiful blend of Meiji elegance and modern energy.

As we pass Marunouchi’s stylish towers and the graceful Gyoko-dori, often called the Emperor’s Avenue, we’ll pause to take in the atmosphere of central Tokyo—where history and innovation walk hand in hand.

From there, we’ll enjoy a gentle walk to the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, along what many consider one of the most refined streets in Japan.

The Imperial Palace sits on the historic site of the former shogun’s castle, once surrounded by the residences of powerful daimyo (feudal lords).

Today, it serves as the official home of the Emperor (in the secluded Fukiage area).

Your guide—who once served at the Imperial Household Agency—will share insights into both the shogunate era and the modern monarchy, enriching your understanding of this deeply symbolic place.

【East Gardens of the Imperial Palace】 – Where past, present, and future quietly converge

This is where Japan’s past, present, and future quietly converge.

Once the site of Edo Castle and the shogun’s residence, it became the Imperial residence after the Meiji Restoration of 1868.

Nearby Kasumigaseki is now home to Japan’s major government institutions and financial centers, creating a striking contrast between tradition and modernity.

The East Gardens offer a peaceful escape—home to groves of pine and bamboo, stone pathways, and graceful koi swimming in calm waters.

Drawing on my experience at the Imperial Household Agency, I’ll share stories that bring the history of the samurai and the imperial family to life.

Let me also guide you to a lesser-known corner of the gardens, a quiet gem many visitors overlook.

03:00 PM

【Asakusa】 Historic temple town since the 7th century – Step into the timeless charm of Edo-Tokyo

Asakusa is one of Tokyo’s most historic districts, where the vibrant spirit of Edo lives on.

With its views of Tokyo Skytree, elegant kimono-clad visitors, traditional rickshaws, and the bold Kaminarimon Gate guarded by a golden dragon, the area offers a striking blend of past and present.

We’ll begin with a panoramic view from the Asakusa Culture and Tourist Information Center, where you can take in the full charm of the district.

From there, I’ll guide you through Kaminarimon Gate, the Nakamise shopping street—Tokyo’s oldest—and the iconic Sensoji Temple and Asakusa Shrine.

Along the way, we’ll explore delightful souvenir shops offering fans, lucky cats, matcha sweets, and handcrafted treasures rooted in Japanese tradition.

And if you're curious, I can also introduce you to a nearby cat café or hedgehog café—unique experiences that reflect the playful side of modern Tokyo.

Dear Guests,

My name is Hiromi. I’m a nationally certified guide based in Tokyo, with a background in both the Imperial Household Agency and international business.

Raised near the Imperial Palace, I grew up in an environment that cherished tradition, fine art, and music — values that continue to guide my life and work.

I create tours that are calm, refined, and culturally enriching. With a deep respect for your time and curiosity, I aim to offer not just information, but meaningful encounters with Japan’s spirit — its beauty, its rituals, its quiet grace.

I speak English and French, and have guided guests through Tokyo, Kyoto, Kanazawa, and beyond. My tours are carefully tailored to your pace and interests, with warmth, precision, and an eye for beauty.

If you’re seeking a guide who is trustworthy, thoughtful, and attuned to both intellect and artistic sensibility, I would be truly honored to walk with you.

Warm regards,

Hiromi

Amazing day with Hiromi

We had a wonderful day with Hiromi. We were a group of six Canadians visiting Tokyo, and Hiromi was truly exceptional. She shared with us a wealth of historical and cultural insights, while making sure we visited as many sites as possible. Her outstanding professionalism made our experience even more memorable. On top of that, Hiromi speaks excellent English and French, which made communication easy and enjoyable throughout the day.

Dear Eric sama, Thank you very much for choosing me and Japan. It was truly my immense pleasure to guide successful business leaders from Quebec. Thank you for supporting Japanese businesses through your work as well. Quebec, with its unique blend of French and English cultures, is one of my favorite regions. It was truly a pleasure meeting with you. I hope to see you again! Sincerely, Your private samurai.

Eccellente guida per scoprire Tokyo
