【Tokyo Station】 -Let’s experience the elegant atmosphere around Tokyo Station feeling the history with a guide from the Imperial Household Agency.
Let’s take a bus ride and enjoy the views of central Tokyo. We’ll travel from Tsukiji fish market through fancy shopping area Ginza, then visit the stunning brick structure of Tokyo Station. Nearby, you’ll find the fashionable Marunouchi buildings, the elegant Gyoko-dori avenue, known as the Emperor’s avenue, and the Tokyo Central Post Office.
From there, we’ll walk to the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace. Let’s stroll through what is considered one of the most elegant streets in Japan!
The Imperial Palace is located on the site where the shogun's residence once stood, surrounded by the estates of various daimyo (feudal lords). Today, it serves as the official residence of the Emperor (in Fukiage area). This is a place where Japan’s past, present, and future intersect. Once home to the shogun’s residence and Edo Castle, it later became the Imperial residence after the Meiji Restoration (Civil War in 1867）.
Nearby, you’ll find financial centers and many government offices in Kasumigaseki, making it a unique spot where you can experience the dynamic contrast of both the past and the future.
Let’s talk about the fascinating history of the samurai and the Emperor! The gardens here are captivating, offering a tranquil escape where you can admire bamboo, pine trees, and even koi fish.

【Asakusa 】 Old temple town founded in the 7th century, Immerse yourself in a stylish asmosphere of Edo-Tokyo
Asakusa is a charming district overflowing with the lively energy of Edo-Tokyo （17Century to middle of 19th Century）
With the stunning Tokyo Skytree, elegantly dressed women in beautiful kimonos, nostalgic rickshaws, the vibrant Kaminarimon Gate, and the golden dragon, Asakusa is truly filled with an exciting and vibrant energy.
First, I’ll show you a fantastic overview of this charming district from the top of the Asakusa Culture and Tourist Information Center. You’ll get an excellent view of Asakusa from here! After that, I’ll guide you to Kaminarimon, Nakamise—the oldest shopping street in Tokyo—Sensoji Temple, and Asakusa Shrine. Along the way, let’s enjoy browsing through a variety of delightful souvenirs, such as fans, lucky cats, kimonos, Japanese swords, matcha, and ningyoyaki (sweet cakes).

Let me share how I became a tour guide. Since I was a child, I’ve always been fascinated by foreign films and cultures. I studied English and French, traveled to the U.S. and Europe multiple times, and was always captivated by the diversity of the world.
But as I started working and met foreign colleagues who practiced martial arts and had a deep knowledge of Japanese culture, I realized how rich and beautiful Japan’s culture truly is. From traditional architecture and tea ceremonies to Bushido and kimono, Japan has so many hidden treasures that moved me deeply, and I wanted to share these with people from around the world.
In addition to guiding in Tokyo, I’ve also had the privilege of taking guests to iconic places like Kyoto, Osaka, Himeji, Kanazawa, and Takayama. Each destination offers a unique story and charm, and I love sharing these gems with my visitors.

“It’s like visiting a new city with an old friend ”
Aside from a wealth of knowledge, Hiromi was always gaging the pace of the tour. Since we had the 8 hour tour from fish market to Skytree. There was much to accomplish. And as we are such foodies and always hungry for the best of everything there was always time for this. She is so kind that we felt we made a new friendship.
