The tour hits some of the core elements of contemporary Japan as well as showcasing bits of Japanese traditional culture and history. I am flexible and we can customize this tour to fit what you are most interested in!

Shinjuku: Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building (a 360 degree panoramic view of Tokyo from the Observatories), Kabukicho and Godzilla
Walk through Shinjuku's neighborhoods: see how the locals live, a Godzilla statue, red light district, etc.

Takeshita-dori Street, street snack, cat cafe, hedgehog cafe, owl cafe, snake cafe etc.
Lunch
You can choose from the following options; Sushi, Savory pancake (okonomiyaki) , Tonkatsu (fried pork). Please let me know if you have any allergies, or specific food you would like to try.

Guide fee, hotel pick-up (in the 23 wards of Tokyo),
Transportation fee: we will mainly be walking, unless you wish to take the train or taxi
Meal costs: probably from ¥1,000~
Extras: Entrance fees, snacks, drinks, shopping, etc.
For places where the whole group must enter such as restaurants, cafes, transportation, etc., I kindly ask that my fee be covered as well.
Tour Important Information
It might be somewhat long walking tour (we definitely walk for three hours at least), so please prepare the comfortable shoes and clothes.

“Fun and flexible tour”
Ai was great! She met us at our hotel in Shinjuku. We really packed a lot in during our 7 hours with her. She did had an itinerary but was flexible about changing this. We went to a pet cafe, Meiji Jingu shrine, Shibuya crossing, etc. She taught us how to use the subway system as well. We had lunch at her favorite Shabushabu restaurant which was excellent. I would highly recommend her as a guide.

If you want to get a glimpse of Tokyo through the eyes of a young local- go with Ai. Highly recommend- she was very accommodating and flexible with our requests. “Amazing experience exploring Shinjuku nightlife.”
Ai was very kind, knowledgeable and friendly. She met us near Shinjuku and guided us through the busy streets, showing off the various sky scrapers and some of their history. We visited a lot of the locale, including shrines, back alley restaurants and bars, and ended the night with a beautiful scenic view of the city from the Government building. It was very fun exchanging stories and she has the answer to many of our questions. Highly recommend!
